There is good news for those stuck in families because they are unable to leave. We call it the Family Trap and posted about this bug recently and about 7 months ago [1], [2]. Zynga is looking into it and has a form that affected players can fill out. To access the proper form, use the link below. Make sure you don’t fill one out on a 3rd party site because it won’t go to Zynga.
If you are trapped within a few members helper list this can also trap you within a family because the programs cant jump the link to your true status ie the gate between you and the gate between the ingame programs clash. Get yourself removed from others helper lists ie the ones they use to reach 101 in family help bonus then you should be able to move on I did.

ReplyDeleteMost likely no. The probably want to fix the issue and the more FBID#s they have, the better the odds they can figure out the cause. Looks like the 1st comment may provide a clue to why this happens to some accounts.

this means zynga does not know why the remove button does not work, i estimate it is 20 lines of script behind it and the "guys" in India who actually do all the programming are gone for holidays to Brazil enjoying soccer

ReplyDeleteBefore you can leave you need to promote the underboss to the GF/GM first. Once you do that it will let you leave.
DeleteNot necessarily Jen. I'm in the same situation as the person who posted above. I've promoted another member to GF, another to underboss and made myself a soldier and it still won't let me out.
