For 5 days, 2 items with useful stats were made giftable [1]. This woke up the trading community as well as many dormant accounts. Some of us ignored the opportunity to score some more loot items and others took full advantage and of Blue Mystery Bags and had a blast on the trading sites [1]. Edward Larson, one of our admins, shared the fruits of his labor and as you can see he had a good time. For many of us 5 days wasn’t enough time but the daily player metrics show that more accounts were active during the time frame. Hopefully Zynga will bring out more items and keep the trading community engaged.

How can it help trading? There is nothing useful to trade for them? Unless some used actual real money??
ReplyDeletemost were trading boosts for them. but it'd make it waaaaaaay more fun if zynga would release some more decent loot to be traded back and forth.
Deletehad a BLAST trading the last few days. I really miss that aspect of the game.
ReplyDeleteYeah... especially when people have 100 minis to cheat their way into getting them :) I bet that's a lot of fun :D And as the metrics show... A LOT of minis were ressurected, haha... let the cheating commence, Zynga... the more crap Zynga allows the cheaters to take advantge of, the more minis and scripts will be run... just sad it has to be that way... rememeber when the game was actually fun??? Oh well... I guess it's not about having fun anymore... it's about cheating and running scripts and getting a tonnes of stuff with minimal effort...
ReplyDeleteThere always has to be the whinger, send me your link and I will forward on some tissues and a link to Farmville..
Delete@ Kevin... I don't think Anonymous is whining... it seems he/she is merely stating the obvious... how come when someone voices an opinion towards the obvious it's to be considered whining? If you can honestly say that cheating and the using of minis and scripts haven't changed the game completely, you have to be deluting yourself... it's a simple fact... people who use scripts and tons of minis DO have an advantgae.... and OF COURSE they love what Zynga just did... it's a no brainer... but stating it shouldn't be considered whining... and classy comment about the Farmville... I think that's getting old now, haha... maybe try with some constructive ideas instead of resorting to this?? Of course cheaters would LOVE to see more of this... but is it fair to those who don't cheat? Think about that for a moment... I think that was the point anonymous was making... not whining...
ReplyDeleteAll I see is a bunch of envy! They say all is fair in love, war & MW. If you haven't the know-how to maximize your character through ALL available avenues or the dedication to create & maintain 100 mini's, than that is just tough! Deal with it. Scripts have SAVED this game, not dealt an unfair advantage. Who has the time to manually spend 100k+ stamina multiple times a day? If YOU do, then you must not have much of a life.
DeleteI agree scripts have changed the game, But Zynga encourages having to use them in the events they provide. This is the way the game has gone, it is not a fighting game anymore, it is doing jobs and the Arena now. I do not consider scripts cheating, I still enjoy the game, even though I built a fighting account originally, and now have to spend more time building energy/stamina.
DeleteAs for people who use scripts, the answer is simple, join them.
If that is not the way you want to go then to my mind stating the obvious is whining. Surely if you do not like the direction the game has gone then quit, I just get so fed up with people like Anonymous always complaining.
Scripts have saved the game like paying has: if not abused.
ReplyDeleteI wish some people would get off their high horses. As many that use scripts and pay while maintaining some sense of 'decent' game play, there are those who ABUSE and drive others away from the game.
I don't think script use is cheating.
I think getting things free that others earn or pay for IS cheating.
I think using scripts that won't let you get iced or put on the fightlist IS cheating.
I think auto playing 24/7 renders the game pointless. And using 100 accounts? Who is judging who has a life?
Let people trade. It's their game, and their fun. Quit judging and quit with the Farmville shit, that's so 2011.
When I get to auto playing that many accounts all the time, I'm quitting and just programming the air conditioner for fun - it's just as interactive.
