It appears Zynga is cleaning up some long time issues affecting many families [1]. Since they are in the mood, it’s time to revisit a bug which is problematic for many families and players. About 7 months ago we saw an increased number of reports from players who got stuck in a family [1]. The only workaround to date has been to have Customer Support remove the player but not all players or families are able to contact them. They can’t leave on their own free will and their admins can’t remove them. They are just stuck in a family they don’t want to be a part of. This is still happening and many would be happy to see it resolved.
