The Berserk Boost

Even though the top 3 items of the Berserker Blitz event have been exhausted, Zynga is hoping that the fighters will take advantage of the Berserk Boost which costs 2 reward points and lasts until 5 Berserk Badges drop. Below is an outline of how this boost works.


Berserk Boosts can be purchased on the home and fight pages. If you want to buy more than one at a time then you can find them in the Marketplace. Unless you are a serious fighter and determined to ice someone there is really no use for this boost.
 Each Berserk Boost will double the amount of stamina required per Power Attack and also double the damage you do. It’s essentially speeding up the time it will take to ice an opponent. The Berserk Badge will show up on the Boost page if you own any. I find it odd that they don’t mention the value of double the damage here. By the second day or so of the event the Bersek Badges mean nothing.

To compare, the images below are of a single and Power attack in each of the different fighting types of destinations. When a Berserk Boost is active the fight module screen has a blue berserky border. The addition of the 150 Power and 30 Power buttons explains why Zynga finally got around to making a 15 Power button in New York [1].

The added bonus is you get 2 times the Berserk Badges but Zynga managed to make that something not very useful. The last and soon to be only item left in the event is not very useful and with the July loot refreshes it will be obsolete. As stated above the Berserk Boost will only be useful in war type settings when icing opponents before they can heal is desired.
