The Reign Of Error Limited Time Mission is much easier than previous Missions so this must be an error! Is it possible that Zynga got tired of all the complaints and decided to make these achievable for all players? Regardless of why, the Mission was almost fun as it didn’t require too many resources or reward points to speed it up. There are a few parts which will pose challenges but a few hard parts is much better than all of the parts being difficult. The buy off costs for timed tasks have also been reduced from what they were in previous Missions so impatient players will appreciate that. We do get 15 days so I wouldn’t recommend spending reward points but I do for these blog posts. It also appears that the requirements may be the same for all accounts. This will make things easier to document. Please comment if you notice variations.
If you want to share the objectives for this Mission in a text format, copy and paste the following anywhere you would like. Normally I replace the number of tasks with an X but will leave them for what was on my account in case we find they are indeed all the same. The experience payouts are still based on level so those will be different. A graphic display of all 11 parts and a job list is shown below.
Part 1: The Fixer
Part 2: Listen In
Part 3: Sweep The Scene
Part 4: A Light Touch
Part 5: Law And Order
Part 6: The Other Side
Part 7: The End?
Part 8: More To It
Part 9: Cross Over
Part 10: Final Fight
Part 11: Winning Side
There are a total of 4 jobs we will need to do and 2 of them require consumables. All you need to worry about farming are Rubber Gloves and Microchips. The number of tasks and the energy required for the jobs isn’t that much so it shouldn’t be a production like some of the Missions we have seen in the past. The job in Part 5 is the exception. Although you don't need to farm consumables, you need to drop Finger Munches and 175 of them seems excessive. If the ratio wasn't a dismal 1.734 this wouldn't be so bad. At least the job only requires 864 energy and isn't a South Africa or Mexico job. You will probably need to spend between 300K-500K energy to get it done but it depends on the drop rate of your items. They seem to drop at a rate of 1-2 per every 3 jobs. You can use the Lockpick Bonus to get double the loot for 20 jobs every 8 hours. To compensate for the bad ratio, take advantage of the leveling bonuses found here and the new Mystery Energy Gifts. Nobody should need to spend reward points unless you have totally ignored your energy stats. These Missions weren't meant to be done in a day and there are over 2 weeks to get through it.
Part 1: London District 3: Consumable Required
Part 5: Chicago District 4: Loot Drop Required
Part 7: London District 6: Consumable Required

Part 10: South Africa District 1: Loot Drop Required
As far as the stamina tasks go, they are all fights and Shootout Arenas. Make sure you change your scripts if they are set to Mob Fury Arenas because you won’t get credit for anything. In Part 3 we need to kill Louie Smokes. Like the last Mission he isn’t auto-refreshed on the fight list but unlike last time each new fight list does have 1 Louie Smokes so there you don’t have to refresh 20 times to find one [1]. Zynga also changed the position of the attack button so now they are much easier to find. It’s obvious now that this change was intended but I’m not sure why it was necessary. The NPC Assassin by Team Spockholm was updated to account for refreshes so if Zynga is trying to stop scripts, they failed. The bad news is that each Louie Smokes requires 50 stamina to attack but only pays out 2 experience points.
The useless consumable is the Finger Muncher. We saw drop in some of the fight and job related tasks but it’s also an item we will have to beg for. It’s cute but adds no value to your loot scores.

You get an additional 24 hours added to the timer once you collect Part 8. Once you do that 2 more Mission parts are added and the total goes from 9 Parts to 11 Parts. This really has never made any sense but that’s the way Zynga does it. it would be more logical to have the 2 Bonus Missions unlock after completing Part 9. The 24 hour extension doesn't appear to be working at this time so hopefully Zynga will fix it.

The only bug I encountered is insignificant and most likely a display error. In Part 5 the 2nd task states to loot 50 Finger Munchers from fights in London. Instead of a 'Go Now' button, there is a 'Ask Now' button. I never got a chance to click on it so I don't know if you can also ask for them. Please comment if you find out.
The rewards are listed on the instructions page. You do get to keep all of the mastery items and if you complete all 11 parts than you end up with 1 Bronze, 1 Silver and 2 Gold Debt Collectors. In addition to the timer extension and loot items, you also will end up with 6 reward points, 5 skill points, 8 Arena power ups and 11 experience bonuses.
I think I found the error! I can't get past part 4. Where it says to loot from fights in London, the button says "ask now" and it doesn't ask, and I also have not managed to loot a single finger muncher from fights in London despite much stamina and many kills! Whichever it means to be, neither work!
ReplyDeleteMicrochips can be crafted 5 a day if you don't have enough to save time on the jobs
ReplyDeleteFortunately Zynga did made those mission possible to complete. It looks like up to part 8 are a bit easy or at least no silly many days needed for one task. Two times for building one for 2 items the other for 3 and the good point is that in both of those parts the other time consuming declare war is in the same part. I am surprised since the last missions were almost impossible for most players needed all time building items and 5 of those, next parts were collecting and wars, we have to play 24/7 to complete.
ReplyDeleteLaw And Order gave me the ask button as well, when I clicked on it jumped to fight in London, did the fight and got all 50 very quickly
ReplyDeleteKilling Louie Smokes is easy without Assassin NPC also. You can 5-10 times click on [Attack] button before page refreshes and every click counts.
ReplyDeleteI got +1 XP for killing Louie Smokes. And spamming the button worked for multiple attacks.
ReplyDeletePart 5: Loot 175 Finger Munchers
ReplyDeleteWow... and it's the same for ALL regardless of energy pools, hehe... is i only me who seems to think this is "slightly" unfair?? So... someone with 6,000 energy and someone with 150,000 energy (with 20,000 levels apart) needs to loot the same amount? If THAT is not a mistake on Zyngas part... I don't know what is, haha.
Would be nice to see a post suggesting to Zynga that THIS is not okay... I know someone who will need to spend 500 RPS on this task or spend 10 days doing jobs... I hope this site will make use its vast power to make Zynga aware of this problem... and "force" them to change this to fit everyone's energy pools... and thus msking it fair :)
Thank you
agree. Zynga seem to have forgotten they still have plenty of lower-level players who don't have massive energy. I have 3.7K energy and can only level 6/7 times a day. I am not going to spend over a week doing a crappy XP job when I still have SA & Mexico to finish.
Deletewhat a big fu**in Road Blocker for everyone who dont have max energy pool -.-
DeleteI agree on this part of the mission. I have an account that gets poor loot drops and Zynga has refused to help on this. I have almost 8k energy, not high but better than a lot and have used all of it and not gotten one drop using this amount . Zynga non- customer service has told me it is random. I disagree, horrible ratio for me.
DeleteI agree that it should be level based..not pool based. Low levels that build their pool should not be penalized for trying to gain advantage for themselves. Level based is fairer
Deletei agree BUT....i am level 4388 (will probably level up in a few min) i have only 6k energy and i completed this task i 3 or 4 days days. are you using the lockpick member for double loot? i agree it should be level based, though. usually i only have trouble with the insane number of ices
DeleteThere is nothing in this game that can't be accomplished if you are a total player not just one sided and no RP's needed..6+ years and don't have a problem
ReplyDeleteI finished this event with rp's saved up I hate to wait for wars and builds plus it gives me time to relax instead of always playing I blow through my resources till they come out with something new plus it won't be so much at once when they do unload all there crap on us. The sooner it gets done the better
ReplyDeletedon't know what the deal is but mission: listen in is messed up every time i click go on the do 2,000 in the arena it takes me to a new tab where it is trying to load/ constant reloading of face book---- ok stoped playing on face book as i would have to remove cookies that would slow the game down------then on it;s own something "reset/ adjusted cookies" and now all games on face book can't get too--- x out the reloading loop click remember pass code and a get invalid request EVEN when i try to play this pile of crap game on mafia wars site
ReplyDeleteHave got stuck, completing mission 5. Have 89 finger cutters, then the icon has disappeared from next to the job and no more are dropping. Any ideas?
ReplyDeleteHave gotten 45 ices in Chicago so far. Still showing only 1/125 ices on part 11. Refreshed... 2 hours later. Still shows only one ice,
ReplyDeleteOn part 11 it is ROBS, not ices, you need to rob 125 times, i think you need to get 125 successful robs so the amount you need to rob is much higher.
DeleteBur again, ROB, NOT ice.
Unless you have something else then what me and the walkthrough has, its robs.
REIGN of ERROR URGENT BUG REPORT
ReplyDeleteMunchies no longer on Mission Job making it IMPOSSIBLE TO FINISH & CONTINUE!
( have a screen snip) on my wall ( Silky Maranzano)
I have the same issue, even the image of the finger muncher has gone from the job
Deletewhere is this one easy? LOOT 175 FINGER MUNCHER FROM JOB:"MEET WITH A MAYORAL CANDIDATE". spent 45k energy, 3 level ups and got 4..nope I will stop right here.
ReplyDeleteI dont know how you would think this one is easy LL :( I guess an energy pool of 1 mil makes it easy for you... for me it pushes me closer to the door.
lol, obviously you didn't read the post. Overall this Mission is way easier than previous ones but that is the part I mentioned in the text that some would have problems with and gave suggestions. It was actually easy for me but I built my energy pool once I realized the game was changing.
DeleteI used only 60 or 80k energy to complete it, was fairly easy, but use your crew to get double the loots for 20 jobs, lockpick something whatever its called.
DeleteCannot get 80 ices?
ReplyDeleteWhat are your assinator/battlefield settings?
