The first 2 versions of the Buzz Craft Event did not offer the option to replay [1]. It was a one time deal and you could build up to 6 items during the 2 days it was available. The math was pretty straight forward and you needed a total of 57 parts to fully master the event and it was possible to get up to 64 parts [1]. The 3rd version of this event has a 5 day timer and the option to replay it 3 times once you complete the 1st round [1]. The replay costs plus the extra days totally screwed up our charts and the revised ones are shown below. What’s interesting is that in theory you could get 24 gold rewards but that would be impossible to do in 5 days as it's only possible to get 175 parts. There aren’t even enough parts to get 24 silver items either so strategists may want to change things up to get the maximum number of points added to their equipment scores. The difference of stats between the 3 rewards is only +5 and +8 so it might make more sense to build bronze level and silver items. For every item you are short of 24 a minimum of +258 is not added to your score. You will get more benefits from building some bronze items but equipment scores are very short lived. The chart below assumes a player is able to get all the parts in the news feeds which we all now is almost an impossibility [1]. I'm not going to stress about this event. I'll get what I get as the planning and news feed issue make it too much work to be enjoyable.

ReplyDeleteThere is also a Zynga reset bug. If you've posted before the last 8 hours and it resets you at Midnight PT to ask again at reset time, t won't accept any from that click (says they have already been collected) and then you have to add 8 more hours on that time. So you could potentially lose 15-16 hours depending on when your previous post is. Good one Zynga!

ReplyDeleteIm so tempting to run some auto botting script thing, just to steal from people and hopefully make someone else bot life more difficult, but oh the energy and motivation to do so isnt there so yeah, im happy with what i get hehe.
Luckily i have a few with a very low mafia size that i can actually get some parts of by clicking their link.
I had some left overs and decided to pay the 10 r/p to do it again....when I did that, the ones that I had,were taken away
ReplyDeleteIt is impossible to physcially click on someone's feed and hope for parts. Autobots take them in seconds. I'm not complaining, it's just impossible to complete this task.
ReplyDeleteThe event would have to be extended 3 more days to build 24 gold items and 1 more day to build 24 silver items. 15 items in 5 days can be collected from feeds we post for a total of 75. 12 items in 5 days can be collected from feeds we click (nearly impossible) for a total of 60. 10 items in 4 times the event can be collected from upgrade feeds we post (not possible) for a total of 40. 3 items in 5 days can be collected from upgrade feeds we click (nearly impossible) for a total of 15. This is a grand total of 190 items that can be collected vs 258 needed to build 24 gold items or 194 items to build 24 silver.

42 parts are required to build 6 items (7 per item) per 4 times is 168.
10 parts are required to restart event 3 times is 30.
For silver:
5 parts are required to upgrade item per 4 times is 20.
36 parts are required to build 6 items (6 per item) per 4 times is 144.
10 parts are required to restart event 3 times is 30.
