A Family Progression Observation

Trevor Fougere made an interesting observation in the {ASS} Family room and hopefully someone at Zynga will ponder on it. The Family Module Daily Progression was added to the game in August of 2011 [1]. With this addition came 12 individual experience and 12 family experience bonuses. As we have seen through the years the individual experience bonuses increase in proportion to your level and sadly the family experience bonuses have remained the same. I looked back at a screen shot of my account taken when the feature was first released and compared it to today. There is a vast difference in the individual experience bonuses yet the family bonuses have remained extremely wimpy! With so many families so far away from mastering all 15 levels of Family Progression, Zynga should really look into more ways to get us there. It’s not like the perks are even useful anymore and nothing but player satisfaction would be gained from it. Family Missions help but not enough to be noticeable in the higher levels. Increasing the family bonuses is a great idea and it should have happened a long time ago.

  1. Hehe... yeah... what a geat idea to give the huge families yet another unfair advantage... wouldn't it be easier to just demand Zynga to promote you guys to level 15? hehe... I'm sure they would ;) If this were to be implemented it would only be fair hat the needed xp to leve the family up would be increased as well... otherwise you could just put 50 HUGE level 100,000 script abusers in a family and wait a few weeks for it to be level 15... then put them in another family and repeat the process... NOT fair and NOT recommened, hehe... just accept for ONCE that there are still a few things that can't be gained easily and unfairly - YET :P And hey... it's the same for everyone... and what's the rush anyway? hehe... this game already favors us biggies WAY too much... let's "try" and bring back a little fairness... what say you? :)

      From your reply, it seems as if you have no familiarity with the features or script usage, for that matter? What are "script abusers?" I doubt you even have a clear definition, since you don't have the slightest clue as to why they exist in the first place.

  2. A lot of folks use the experience when short of leveling. What happens when the family hits 15 ?
    For sure you are right, there is no real advantage to any of the 'perks', perhaps that should be updated also.

    1. It's not fair the way it is. Small families are at an extreme disadvantage and will never make it. Family Experience isn't based off accounts. The more players you have the more you get. A small family is doomed and won't live long enough to get there. We are talking about 100+ years for some. The way it is now only the large families will get there and 2 of them have been promoted to Level 15 by Zynga.

  3. Level 10 at one time was the max level that could be achieved. As more get to level 15, Zynga will most likely increase the level again. As for the rewards - who cares, most people use it the experience to help level, while those that self level, just have to remember to collect for the family to get the experience.

  4. We just hit level 10, with 57 members, we are lucky to fill all 10 spots on the 4 leader boards. mabey in 5 more years if the game survives.
