The event those who have struggled with South Africa have been waiting for is here. For 7 days you can get twice the mastery for South Africa jobs and if you use your Strategist and 2X Mastery Boosts you will find that mastery is even faster. For those who already mastered the destination there is a loot item which will randomly drop from all jobs and if it helps you there is incentive to participate. Since the ratios of the jobs in Mexico suck most of us are still doing jobs in South Africa anyway. The release time for this event was very odd and the timer will be a few hours short of 7 full days.


The Veteran Guard will randomly drop in all energy and stamina jobs in South Africa. If you use the Lockpick Bonus you will get 2 of them per drop.


To see if this item helps your equipment score, use the Show Worst Items by Team Spockholm and look at the defense armor category. If it doesn’t help and you already mastered all the districts in South Africa then you can ignore this event.


If you haven’t mastered South Africa then take advantage of the Strategist and 2X Mastery Boosts. The 4th job in District 1, “Rally The Union To Join Your Operation”, pays out 12% mastery per click. If you use the Strategist and a 2X Mastery Boost you can get 48% mastery per click. Using multiple double mastery options only grants the original mastery. In the case below we got 12% for the 2X Mastery Event, 12% for the Strategist Bonus and 12% for the 2X Mastery Boost for a total of 4 times the mastery.
