For the Swazi Smackdown Boss Fight Event, we gave some insight on how to find your combos using the Boss Fighter II by Team Spockholm [1]. It was stated that the combo list was generated from the last event and now some players are finding that their combos aren’t included on this list or that their yellow combo is the same as the red combos from the Lords Of Lesotho. This poses a problem for players in either of these situations. If your yellow combo is found, you will need to scroll up to the top, click the pause button and then restart it. The Boss Fighter will continue to check the 36 combos on the list and hopefully one of them is your red combo. If a combo overlaps with another combo and happens to be your yellow combo, it will stop again so you will need to pause and restart. For those who have a red combo not on the list then you will need to look for additional codes to try. Most likely due to lack of interest, not many players have posted their combos and nobody that I know of has worked out the possibilities for this event. In this case, you will just need to try different combinations. Things to remember is that this is a community portion of the script and not something Team Spockholm codes for. The more we participate by sharing our combos, the better the outcome will be. To make your own sequences, use the item ID numbers of the ammo and add them to the combo breaker. The item ID#’s for the 4 ammo items are shown below. If I wanted to add a new code in the combo breaker, I would make them according to the numbers. Assuming the code I want to try is Bottled Heat, Hawkhack, Wrench Quake and Mega Slayer, I would copy and paste the following into the combo breaker, [26887,26888,26889,26890]. If you want to try more than one combination then you need to add the number in quotes followed by a colon and a space and separate the codes by a comma like this “1”: [26887,26888,26889,26890], “2”: [26887,26888,26890,26889]. There are 256 possibilities for each boss so it can get tricky. For the last event there were 36 red combos and if players want to generate a master list for this event then please share your red combos in the comments. It’s this reason alone why many prefer to just use stamina to take out these bosses. For a better way to do all this and further explaination, go to this Spockholm Forum post. ReplyDeleteActually, the maximum number possible is 4x4x4x4 = 256 as stated. Of these, there are 24 that use one of each ammo type (ie, 4x3x2x1), and so on. I have personally been working through a sequence that covers all of the Lesotho combos, spanning about 65 combinations in total. I have unlocked yellow for each boss by doing this, but I still have not found a single red combo.
DeleteAs I noted in the other thread, it's possible for 2 consecutive combos (the end of one and the start of another) to be split 1/3, 2/2, or 3/1 and trigger a yellow combo.
Deleteif that second combo happens to be your red combo, you're screwed, unless you think to completely dump the combo breaker, and reload it starting with that combo. Simply restarting will just give you the last items remaining from the interrupted combo.
Example:
Say, although you do not know it yet...
Your yellow combo is "13": [26888,26889,26889,26890]
and
Your red combo is "21": [26889, 26890, 26887, 26889]
Running the Combo breaker gets you the Yellow combo, perfectly well. BUT...
When you restart it, you get tripped up with the following sequence...
"20": [26887,26890,26888,26889],"21": [26889,26890,26887,26889]
The last two parts of 20 plus the first 2 parts of 21 trigger your yellow combo
AND, restarting will just start you off with 26887, 26889 - NOT restarting combo 21 from scratch.
So, unless by some miracle parts of consecutive combos in combos 22-36 replicate the sequence of 21 (The way consecutive parts of 20 & 21 replicated 13), you will NEVER find your red combo by simply restarting.
It would take recognizing that this occurred, isolating it to the exact juncture, then deleting (in this case ) combos 20 and lower, clearing the combos in the set, RELOADING this shortened combo into combo breaker, and starting it all over, to correct this.
Note also that Combo Breaker also renumbers the combos - "1" becomes 10, "2" becomes 11, and so on - BUT, if you have already shortened the sequence, whichever combo ends up as first (in the above example, 21) then becomes the new "10" in the display. For finding false Yellow hits and editing down, you need to keep track of how the numbering systems line up for you.
One way to minimize the effect might be to only copy over 4-6 combos at a time from the list of 36 (remembering to replace the [ & ] as needed. It might take longer, but will make isolating repeat yellows from mixed combo parts and eliminating them.
im just using stam and one boss a day on combos. has anyone got data on exp return. i had a quick look and it seems i was getting very high return from gold bosses. should be finished in next 24hrs.
ReplyDeleteGo to the Spockholm Forum page linked near the bottom. SF Member Greg devised a custom combo string that you can use in Bossfighter II to try to crack it. I just ran it on Phoenix Nkomo and BFII came up with the red combo after only 57 items. You need at least 43 of each item to run the custom list.

FU to Zynga and this type of event. It's obvious they ONLY cater to the script users and nobody else.If you actually try to do this event using just stamina you click total would be so high that your finger would want to fall off. Or you could spend RP and get the combos and then click your ass off farming. Again FU Zynga!
ReplyDeleteNow you're talking, Jen. The trick was to hit "Pause" and then "Restart" the code breaker after finding the yellow combo. I then found the red combo in one more minute.
