A new ‘Pay to Play’ Secret District is available. The Barbershop Quartet was initially released a year ago and is based in Chicago. It will be available for purchase during the next 9 days and once unlocked you get 12 days to complete it. The cost will vary is is based on the state you left the district in last year. If you completely mastered it or didn’t touch it it will be 27 reward points. If this is the case then Secret Districts are a good deal on skill points. You get +36 for 27 reward points plus 2 mastery items. If the cost is less then it won’t be a good deal because you won’t get the maximum number of skill points. The first job doesn’t require a consumable and offers a ratio of 2.35 on the Gold and Ruby levels and this is better than any of the jobs in South Africa. If you can stand the Bandits it may be an additional reason to purchase this district. Use the link below for the details pertaining to the Barbershop Quartet. The mastery items and boss combos are shown below.
Sonny Lester Boss Fight Combos
Ruby Boss Fight Mastery Item
Reviewing our game history page shows that there are only 8 Secret Districts to be replayed (not counting Leticia which was never offered for some reason). It took over 3 months for South Africa to fully release and the time interval between new and Pay to Play Secret Districts was dramatically reduced. Zynga either needs to slow down the pace of Pay to Play Secret District and/or increase the pace of new Secret Districts or they are going to catch up to each other.
I don't understand Paid 17 points and only had to do a mission that was 98% complete... Then I just collected
ReplyDeleteIt means you didn't finish it last time. It sucks when this happens, since you have to way overpay to finish it. It's worth doing, though, because at least now you can play the full district the next time it comes up.
DeleteIt was explained above. If you completely mastered it or didn’t touch it it will be 27 reward points. If this is the case then Secret Districts are a good deal on skill points. ReplyDeleteI haven't been doing the Pay to Plays because I don't like the return on 27 skill points. The ratio of energy to exp pts on the final De Are district (ruby) is about 2.4 to 1, best I have found. At my level it takes 3553 energy to get 8580 eps (alothough it does use 2 consumeables).
ReplyDelete27 rp for 36 skill points, is 1.3~ rp per skill point. and leveling 54 times gives you that amount of rp plus 270 skill points for free. That is 306 skills. not bad for doing a few days work.
DeleteOnce ruby is complete, there is a job with a higher ratio than S.A. for leveling.
BANDITS ON GOLD.
ReplyDeleteIn the past there has been a gold level, no bandit (glitch?), for most accounts. Unfortunately, not this district.
-I blame the cat.
I hate that I never find out about these until I visit this website. Yes, there's a banner, but it's 7th out of 12, so I never see it. They should advertise this at the top, like they do for the 2x property builds.
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad one can't replay this 3 more times :)
ReplyDeleteThe payout is in clams. Most players have finished Chicago. More useful are the districts with London or SA cash. The last SA district yielded me over $50,000 SA Rand for a slow week's playing
