Derailed is the 66th Limited Time Mission and all players get 15 days to complete it (16 if you make it to Part 9). This is the 5th Limited Time Mission with the updated reward structure and players can now earn up to 4 mastery items and get a 1 day extension on the timer. There are a total of 11 parts each with 3 objectives. The number of tasks for each objective is based on a variety of factors specific to your account and will not be the same for all players [1]. Derailed is a much kinder and gentler Mission than the previous one. There are fewer job related tasks and not as many consumables are required and there aren’t as many delays. Most players should be able to complete this one. All Mission parts and objectives are shown below. A special thanks to Jo Gilliam (AKA Bob) for doing her own version of the walkthrough on our fan page [1]. Facebook messed up the order but it was nice for players to see what was coming before this walkthrough got posted.
If you want to share the objectives for this Mission in a text format, copy and paste the following anywhere you would like. The X represents the number of required tasks in each objective because as stated above they will not be the same for all players. A graphic display of all 11 parts is shown below.
Part 1: Trial On Error
Part 2: Spilling The Beans
Part 3: Money Talk
Part 4: Loyalty Surplus
Part 5: Game Plan
Part 6: Clear The Decks
Part 7: Payback
Part 8: Sleepless Nights
Part 9: Big Bang
Part 10: Payday
Part 11: Clean Sweep
This time there are only 5 job related objectives (last time it was 7) requiring jobs and only 2 of them require a consumable. The nice thing Zynga did for us was that they made the 2 jobs which produce the required consumables into objectives so your farming will now count for something. In an unprecedented move, Zynga didn’t give us a job requiring 3 Beer Barrels per click!
Part 1: London District 5 “Run Your Empire”
Part 4: South Africa District 3 “Eliminate An Unexpected Roadblock”
Part 6: South Africa District 3 “Sell Virus To The Highest Bidder”
Consumable Required: 1 Brooshoot
Part 10: South Africa District 5 “Proceed To Dealer’s Warehouse”
Part 11: South Africa District 5 “Finish Your Car-Jacking As Planned
Consumable Required: 1 Jack & Chill
Loot Drop Required: Circular Cycle
On the stamina side of the Mission, all Arena tasks involve the Shootout Arena. Don’t do what I kept doing and enter Mob Fury Arenas as nothing will count. Another point of interest is that Zynga messed with the NPC Assassin Spocklet. For some reason there is only 1 Agent Miller per fight page and they aren’t repopulated when you kill one. Because of this you have to refresh the fight page to get another one and the kicker is not every fight page you view has one. The NPC doesn’t work and it’s a major pain in the ass. I’m hoping it’s a bug and this will be addressed in a future post. If it’s not a bug than hopefully Team Spockholm can work around it before the masses get to Part 9. Also in regards to stamina there are a buttload of Robbing tasks! UPDATE: To work around the Agent Miller issue, you can either fast click on the 'Attack' button or use the NPC Assassin from the backup server (open the Configuration page and check 'backup server' then launch the script). Go here for more details.
Although there are time delay tasks, they aren’t as many or as extreme as the last Mission. Many couldn’t finish the Calculated Risk Limited Time Mission because of the delays [1]. Zynga never adjusted the delays like we hoped they would but it seems they learned from it and didn’t do that to us again.
You get an additional 24 hours added to the timer once you collect Part 8. Once you do that 2 more Mission parts are added and the total goes from 9 Parts to 11 Parts.
The rewards are listed on the instructions page and as you can see they aren’t very proportional to the amount of work and resources required. You do get to keep all of the mastery items and if you complete all 11 parts than you end up with 1 Bronze, 1 Silver and 2 Gold Raccoon Dogs. A closer look at the rewards can be found here.
Thanx Jenn. :)
ReplyDeleteA Fat Eddie Murphy LOL
ReplyDeleteyep part nine is a pain in he azzzzzz
ReplyDeletethank for all the great info,,, like always
ReplyDeletewohoo looks like no beer barrels
ReplyDeleteI guess they did all this, no early access and farming jobs in the mission and stuff because of the harder mission last time?
ReplyDeleteMaybe they try to be a little kind after all, i can be wrong of course, but its a reason to all this, but anyway im just so glad to see no jobs that require beer barrels, omg i hate that job, they used that job in what, all mission since new years eve atleast, if not longer.
Anyway, it looks like this mission is abit easier then the last one and thats good in many ways.
But i still believe that all this has happened due to the last mission, i guess many people reacted much more then the missions before, if what i wrote made any sense, lol.
Don't worry, if this isn't fixed I'm sure team Spockholm will fix their script so you don't have to actually play the game.
ReplyDeletebull shit for a bull shit game
ReplyDeleteMy district 10 is not the same as posted/plus there in no 11.
ReplyDeleteThank you, that was my mistake. Those jobs are Part 10 and Part 11 and both are located in District 5 of South Africa. I have fixed it in the post :)
DeleteI really wish Zynga would make the Arena parts be from Mob Fury & not Shootout, it would make it so much more enjoyable & easier, IMO. I'm happy that they lightened up on the time delay parts & finally skipped giving us a job requiring those stupid beer barrels!! Maybe I'll get to finish this mission compared to the 3 previous ones. I don't mind spending rps but on loot that's going to be no good in approximately a month, not worth it. I'll use my rps for skill points instead.
ReplyDeleteSo much for finishing this mission. Stuck on the job in part 6, I need a total of 156,300 energy & since I only get 1 click on the job per level up, I'll need to level up 30 times in order to finish it without spending rps. Unfortunately I'm lucky if I can spend 2 hrs a day on the game. Thank God for MWLL & MWAddon or I'd have to quit completely.
DeleteTo kill Agent Miller try rapid fire clicks of the mouse! And then wait and watch the kills get tallied. It will not be completed in a couple of tries, but it will give you more than 2 kills each attempt. ZYNGA is 5150!
ReplyDeleteAlso, Thank You Very Much for publishing the walk through of these missions!! They help me so that I know when to hold a build back when I'm about to finish a part.
ReplyDeleteWell Kill Agent Miller Disappeared on 1 account and never showed up on another.
ReplyDeleteclicked back up server loaded Assassin NPC and fight list and it destroyed Agent Miller in about 2 minutes . awesome. Spock On !
ReplyDeletekill agent miller how I do that when he is not on my fighlist? EPIC FAIL ZYNGA as usual
ReplyDeleteDoing parts 10 & 11 on top of the SA boss fights is not fun. Can you say holy stamina Batman!
ReplyDeleteAgent Miller only appears in the one city, the one that the link in the mission takes you to, right? Yay to no beer barrels. It's almost hard to believe LOL
ReplyDeleteTY
I'm getting an error message when I try to ask for Circular Cycles. This started yesterday, still happening today. I've restarted my laptop a couple of times, and there were some automatic updates today, but still getting the error message. I also got it just now when trying to share Daily Take, so I guess it's not just a mission problem.
