Once nice thing about having a script on your server for Mafia Blackjack is you can pull the data from it and that’s exactly what Team Spockholm did. For 2 hours team Spockholm took anonymous data of what cards were issued to their users and what cards were dealt to the bosses. Eike summed up the overall totals and those for each type of drawing hand here. The data shows that there is indeed a random distribution of the cards for both the players and the dealers. I know it doesn’t seem that way when we get on an unlucky streak but there it is in black and white. Regardless of the odds, there still aren’t enough Chips to finish the event. There are 3 things Zynga could do to make it possible. They could let us win Chips when we win hands, provide more free Chips than the average of 100 per day or they could extend the timer by 18 – 20 days.
Maybe if they played by real blackjack rules where if you bet 10 and you win, then you get back 20 (original bet 10 plus 10), and blackjack would pay 3:2 (25 for your 10) instead of 0.5:1. just sayin..

My strategy of clicking Stand at 12+ still holds in MWBJ. Except during an unlucky streak where the Boss became stronger than when I started :) But I agree that the reward of winning a hand is not what I would play for at the local casino :)

DeleteI must have really bad unlucky streaks then. I played 26 hands today on the last boss. Started with 11560 health and ended up with 11260 health, At that rate it'll take another 3 weeks to get that one down. The boss got 21 seven times out of those 26 hands.

ReplyDeleteI was lucky yesterday. Started 3rd boss with 194 chips in hand. Played few 50 bets and succeeded. Now at 0 chips tge boss health at 1100
ReplyDeleteI have my last boss down to 6390 health ..I would have to agree to the time extension mentioned in the post above ,as i see no other way to finish this event without spending a load of cash for RP(which i dnt have ). So this event is finished for me after the remaining time has expirred .
ReplyDeleteIf you introduce a game like BJ that has specific playing rules then Zynga should abide by them and not use parts they want and discard the rest...shame on you Zynga, but what do we expect from a lying, cheating company?
ReplyDeleteIf you guys can't afford the RP to complete this event, you shouldn't be playing the game. This is a game for winners, not losers. People with no money are losers. This is truly a game where the best man wins.
