A new type of VIP item was added to the inventory. This one has 5 tiers so the VIP icon is located at the bottom right instead of the top left. The items are labeled ‘Special Event’ instead of VIP so either the icon is a mistake or Zynga has something special planned for their subscribers. Non-VIP players shouldn’t feel slighted as I’m sure whatever is special will require more purchases than just the monthly fee of $24.97.
