There have been a lot of questions about Daniela’s Deal as accounts that never purchased it have the banner for it. Daniela’s Deal was introduced on July 26th and the 1 year anniversary is around the corner [1], [2]. Because players are still getting the offer so close to the anniversary, I imagine those who did purchased it will have the opportunity to do so again. I did purchased it almost a year ago and haven’t missed any collections so it was a good deal for me. I don't know if I will buy it again because I’m not 100% confident the game will still be here in a year. If it is, I’m definitely not 100% confident I will still be playing as it's become a complete copy/paste bore. A year ago I didn’t think it would last this long so I could be surprised again. If Daniela’s Deal is purchased for 260 reward points, I am confident that Zynga would not reimburse if the game were to be shut down (other than maybe some extra Farm Bucks). When deciding if purchasing is the right decision for you, ask yourself which image will come first? I see too many players quitting and/or cancelling their VIP subscriptions to think the former.
When the deal first came out many people were saying that they weren't getting it because they knew that the game would be over before it ended. I bought it because I decided that if the game ended before it was over I wouldn't even care what an RP was and if it didn't, then it was an extra 260 free RPs. I'll purchase it again (if the offer it to me) for the same reason. I always keep enough RPs around for special deals anyway, might as well spend them and get them back doubled.
ReplyDeleteI used to play 3 accounts daily and now only play one account daily. I also stopped all spending except for the 1 accounts VIP and not sure why I have not cancelled that.

I would like to send out a YELL at the loot lady. I have appreciated all the information and knowledge as well as support you have provided all of the loyal players and followers over the years. That being said, take a moment and read what you have written for all of the players, and take note that YOU are a contributing factor to people leaving the game. Your words, as true as they may be, are giving a poor outlook upon the game and tend to discourage players from continuing on. Please take a moment to reflect and review how you say things as some of us do still enjoy the game and the friendships that go way beyond that of the game. Thank you again for your continued information as it is always appreciated!!!
ReplyDeleteSorry but I'm honest. Nobody pays me to do this and the only revenue I get is from my readers who visit my ads. I owe it to them to be honest. Until someone pays me to paint a rosy picture I will not help Zynga take money from my readers by propagating the longevity of this game. I'm as upset as anyone that it is in trouble but facts are facts.
