Limited Time Mission: Fusewire Starts Now

Share:

Zynga has got to be kidding as the 54th Limited Time Mission called Fusewire is now rolling out. Begging is at an all time high and fun is at an all time low! I think the boycott has upset them so they are doing the opposite of what players are asking for...LESS CONTENT! A walkthrough will be posted soon. Check the fan page for faster updates.

  1. Meh... skipping the resource-hogging Operations this round (beyond Easy) has made me a very happy man with no worries nor lack of resources for everything else. Pick your poisons carefully!

  3. Lots of content? Are we playing the same game? Progression requires about an hour and 20-30% of my daily resources, then the moscow module requires 10 clicks 3 times a day and will be completed in 32 hours, doing family progression also pretty much gives one all the credit in the flag event. All this leaves is this new secret district. so the statement of too much content is simply is an erroneous statement in my opinion. The amount of content is just Zynga way of covering all the player's base with something to do. And for those who can't get it all done, simply do what you enjoy and leave the rest. there is no rule that says one has to do it all. You are not going become cannon fodder simply because you fail to do an event

    1. You miss the point. Many who can't keep up quit, the more that quit, the shorter the life span of the game becomes. Sure I and many others have no issues getting everything done but I those who can't get frustrated. While your advice may be sound and practical, it's not easy to do. I would totally quit the game if I were unable to finish something. It would bug me to no end.

    2. You would have my game watered down, to become a exercise is mouse clicking because the certain percentage of the player base is unwilling to put forth the effort required to play this game?
Anything of worth is not obtained easily. Players need to work, Players need to struggle. How else does one derive a sense of accomplishment when the player does succeed? I would much rather see this game maintain a certain level of difficulty and be short lived than be watered down for the sake of longevity.

Zynga has done more than they should have. They now are adjusting difficulty based on level and resources. In the beginning it seemed like missions or special events were simpler. The requirements were the same for everyone, if you achieved you were rewarded and if you well short it was, "better luck next time"

These 9 part missions give players something reasonably good each section they are able to complete. So even if they don't finish they are not left with nothing.

Players need to accept the fact that they are not going to complete all aspects of this game. There is no way a level 200 should expect to accomplish as much as a level 2000.

What or who are they "keeping up with?" While Zynga may not be good at it,their intent seems to be to keep players of similar
strengths together. So the need to complete everything is dissolved.

I do not think that completing all the secret missions, special districts or all the begging events has any major impact to ones overall success

  4. Recently we just never seem to have had a break from new stuff. I like to be able to do the new stuff myself when I can but with so many events going this is no longer possible. I definitely agree with Lootlady - they are rolling out far too much content at once and it is getting to the stage where there is too much going on in the game at one time. It has certainly detracted from my enjoyment of the game. I sometimes wonder whether it is an underhand ploy - get enough people to quit and it backs up any decision they make about shutting the game down. This new stuff we have had recently had should have been spread out over a longer period.

    1. Zynga needs to address the needs of all its players. So they introduce an event that is stamina based, one that is energy based, one that is gift based. How can anyone sit here and say that is excessive? Depending on the event, I can finish it anywhere from 2 to 5 days. Now the events last anywhere from 9 to 14 days, that should be amble time for just about anyone to be able to complete it

Zynga is within its rights to shut down this or any other game at any time for any reason. They do not need our consent or approval. They do not need to do anything, underhanded or not if this is their intent or decision

  5. All this game is right now is mouse clicking and begging and begging and begging and time limits and gift limits and helping limits and begging and begging and begging and you should want your game watered down so more people keep playing and new people will join.
It's a game, but feels more like an unpaid job. It's not enjoyable any longer and so many people have quit because of it. New people aren't joining because they can't catch up. Granted, there are probably a few people like you who don't want their game 'watered down', but I'll bet the majority of players would so they can keep playing.

    1. the game started out, you fought, you robbed, you did jobs and you assisted your mafia. That has not changed in three plus years for me. The game is boring for the most part as it is simply the same old thing. I have certain goals which keep me playing. otherwise I probably would have quit
For me, the hardest part of the game was the task of winning over my mafia, after all, what makes me better than 500 other players? In the beginning there were days I did not receive a single gift, now I never receive less than 200-250 a day

The misconception that a player can "catch up" is just that. The only way a person catches up is that if the player ahead of him quits. Players may have the intelligence to play this game. however, I question whether or not they have the drive or the self motivation after a year or two

  6. After 4+ years of playing, I've been playing less and less everyday. Too much going on. As soon as one thing ends 3 new things start. Beg, beg, beg and more beg. I am tires of this. My friends are tired of this. Thanks Zynga for ruining another great game.

  7. Oh please, nobody is forcing players to do ALL the events. I don't bother with the special operations as I think they take too much energy and stamina once past the Easy level. However, I've had no problems participating in all the other events. I'm well over level 4000 and with all locations and normal properties completed a long time ago I love the limited time missions, secret districts and events and have no problem with completing the ones I want to do. I'm not a big money player, haven't spent any in a while (not Zynga, money is tight) but I still enjoy the game and have done for the 2.5 years I've been playing. For those who don't like it, you know where the door is - I have a feeling Mafia Wars will not be around for too much longer but I will enjoy it whilst it remains. Its only a game people, don't get so stressed about it.

  8. I agree this game has gotten out of hand. You need to post between 8-12 begs every 8 hours and that's after having all cities and properties completed, if not you can easily double the beg count. So you have to go and click your behind off to help those who help you. After 15-20 min of clicking begs you now have to actually play the game. add another 20-30 min to play and you just have wasted 45+ mins. On top of that many of us have 2nd and 3rd accounts, 2+ hours wasted 2-3 time a day. This is why people have abandoned this game. They took all the fun out and made it a job. The only ones still playing run bots/scripts. Lately I have seen players level 200+ levels a day while I might get 10-12 if I put in ALL the time mentioned above. Not fun anymore and like many other I am playing less and less.
