For those who bet good money that the next Operations Event would be Cuba themed, Zynga threw in a fast one and named them after the little known district of Manhattan. For a short while a small percentage of new accounts got the destination of Manhattan instead of New York. It came with all kinds of bugs and exploits and is no longer offered although some accounts still have it
[1]. This Manhattan Affair runs like the 3 previous Operation events. Use the
Operator Spocklet and visit the most popular
Operations Group and this will be easy. These Operations will be around for 11 days. The jobs and rewards are shown below. If you need more information about how these events work, go

Click the help mark for more details and look for the American flag. You may or may not notice (I didn't) but there is a new addition to these instructions. "You can help others in THE MANHATTAN AFFAIR up to 20 timers per day.". Zynga is so good at pissing off their players! How do they stay in business?
You need to master all 15 Operations. There is a Bronze, Silver and Gold level and each one contains the same 5 Operations but they get more difficult in the number of helpers and requirements. The ratios also get better as you progress.
Use the Operator to eliminate all the clicking and scrolling. It's a dream! You can also heck out the requirements and ratios. Nothing stands out from the previous events and this round follows the high energy and/or stamina with great ratios mold.
In addition to the great ratios and the loot rewards normally suck players in. That won't be the case this time because Zynga imposed a limited on the number of Operations you can help in (more to come on that). There are 6 possible loot rewards. Leaders get 4 items per Operation and helpers get 3.

Complete all 15 Operations to fully master the event. For each level you finish, you get a Desert Warrior. Once you master the Silver level, the Bronze item is removed from your inventory and mastering the Gold level removes the Silver. You can only get one of these.

ReplyDeleteWARNING: You are only allowed to help 20 times/day, so forget about maxing on any of the loot items or leveling a lot during this event, unless they remove that STUPID cap.

NERFED! 20 max "helps". Nice of Z to take the one thing we have enjoyed and talked about of late and whittle it down so much. Why do we stay here??
ReplyDeleteYou have to wonder if Zynga has a committee working overtime to dream up changes that will piss off their remaining players?? No one person can possibly come up with all the stupid changes they have been making in the game. Imagine if they focused all that creativity toward fixing the long-standing glitches and/or implementing the changes the players ask for just what a great game it would be!

ReplyDeleteIs this a plot by Zynga to annoy their daily players and get them to quit? That would make it easier for them to shut the game and give us all compensation packages for Bubble Safari. LOL
