The
10th Robbing Spree brought a little something special break the repetitive nature. Many players are finding that when they comment on a request for Smack And Stabs, they get booted from their Facebook accounts and get a Spam Warning once they return. I was able to reproduce this and what I had to do to get my Facebook account back was a bit nerve wracking. This is also happening to the Power Card requests. Zynga should look into this issue as it’s not good for their brand. For now the best advice I can offer is to not comment on these requests. I don't know what happens if you get more than 1 warning and I wasn't about to go there to find out. More details are shown below.
It’s a common practice to copy and paste your help messages onto other players posts so they can see you helped them.
I did just that on the post shown above and was greeted with the following message.
When I hit “Cancel”, I had to click a confirmation.
The fun didn’t stop there. I was booted from my account and had to log back in. That’s about the point I started to get nervous.
Upon logging in, I got a Spam Warning and was told that I pasted sensitive info about my Facebook account onto a fake page and my account started spreading spam. Of course none of this is true, I was just letting my friend know I helped them with the Robbing Spree Event.
I was then required to read some safety tips.
And then encouraged to review my recent account activity.
Clicking “Go to Activity Log”, didn’t bring me to my Activity Log. It brought me to the Facebook
Community Standards page.

ReplyDeleteauto post / like has no use in scripts. scripts try to accept the request, then move on to the next. likes comments help out the manual players. Turn off the likes/comments.

DeleteThanks for this! I got the same warning doing the same thing! At first I wondered if the words Smack and Stab, had triggered some naughty word nanny bot at face book. But the eventual readmission showed a SPAM warning. Pity FB can't do any thing about real SPAM hi-jacking scams in FB.

i have the same but when i check my activity log, i saw a game BINGO post which I click " not spam" on my mail yahoo.mail inbox, to open it and get my freebies, but then i set it again to "spam" to make it sade at it was before.......however, it still appear on my "activity log....action>>> i marked as a "spam" again and fasebook instantly removed it from my activity log.now all is OKEY

ReplyDeleteI still can't use FB on Chrome (Firefox works fine), going on several weeks. Apparently I was booted temporarily for commenting too much, then finally for "like"ing too much. It says I have spam on my computer and I have to install a FB security plug in. I don't trust FB that much! Guess I'll just stick to Firefox from now on. I can send you a screen shot if you want to blog about that.

ReplyDeleteI got the spam warning when all I did was click on the yellow arrow to bring up the box for the 2x loot request in the "Case Dismissed" district. The warning popped up even before the window that allows you to post the request even opened.
ReplyDeleteI get the tempory blocked box everyday cause i use the stream scanner and it clicks 'like' for me when i send parts etc......i havent been kicked out of my account at all yet.....so for the rest of each day i cant click 'like' on say our clan wall on main posts but can click on coments on posts.....and sometimes later on that day say 8-12 hours later i can click posts.....it does the same if you tick post a coment on posts......

ReplyDeleteSame here, MWLL... BUT, I went a step further, I filed a report to FB, complaing that they are harrassing & threatening the gamers for copy & paste comments ! I'll probably lose my account... but this crap is rediculous ! Wish me luck !

DeleteI reported to FB .. Demanding to know the exact violation .. of policy .. what & where did I get it ..since all my activity is on Zyn-gaf/FB .. it was their issue Not mine & that they needed to check their bot'z for the error ..

PH, I went to live help when it happened to me, I was just as angry as you were. When I asked the same question I was asked for my FB link. I gave it to him and said I wanted to know where this spam is, that all I did was respond to a post. After inspecting my timeline he came back and said he "did not know" what the problem was, however they would be watching my acct to see what the problem is. Further I was advised it would be forwarded to (you guessed it) STUDIO. Signed as Anon because I don't give out my addy for a reason, and can't figure out the other options. Don LaSage

ReplyDeletesame here..was collecting and trying to help on post when it logged me out,same messages and all..I freaked as I know I did nothing wrong..so now we have to worry about being blocked from helping on post?? This whole thing is just getting so 2nd grade for me!!
ReplyDeletealso the same here..I even changed my password because it looked to fishy to me, as I know I was doing nothing wrong..so now we are punished for helping people in a game on FB..this is all getting to be so 2nd grade between FB and Zgyna.... I was also told that if you are running stream feed (which we don't do), that is when you get the warning. You might want to keep that in mind if you do use it and unclick the auto comments next time :)

ReplyDeleteI am going to assume that the words smack and stab are triggering some kind of filter for threatening comments. I don't see any other reason this would happen.
ReplyDeleteI have got pinks slips from Facebook for liking posts, posting music links, commenting on threads too much and too often and had my ices reported!!! Now I just silently help in the background, like fewer posts but still help my mafia and post my ices batches. Of course I had to close down our battleground so the idiot that reported my ices can no longer do it. In my humble opinion, Zynga needs to really twist Facebook's corporate arm into dealing with REAL PROBLEMS and stop harassing gamers, on a platform Facebook forced Zynga into accepting.

I found if you open a new tab b4 clicking on warning,then close window with pop up warning it will not log you out.
