Case Dismissed Secret District Walkthrough

Share:

Case Dismissed is the 28th Secret District and is London based. Like the last 3 Secret Districts, it can be repeated for 50 reward points up to 3 times during the 15 days it’s available (the timer does not reset when you pay to replay it). Gone must be the days of great ratios without consumables or Bandits. Like the last Secret District, there aren’t a lot of jobs to choose from. Zynga sure knows how to turn anything in this game to something dull and boring.
Esq. J. Lawless loves to object and if he doesn’t have proof, he can make up a convincing piece of evidence. He is ruthless with his questions and merciless with the opposition. Take him down before he makes you plead guilty.

There are a total of 9 jobs and 4 levels of mastery. There are no equipment items to purchase for Secret District jobs but 4 of them require London Pounds.  Below are the descriptions, requirements, payouts and ratios for each level. Many are disappointed as the job with the best ratio requires a consumable and currency.

* Requires Consumable  per job.

The consumable item for this district is Vital Evidence. They are needed for the 5th and 8th job and can be used as ammo for the Boss Fight. You can accept up to 250 per day via the free gift system or farm them doing the 1st job.

sd9

Find them on the free gift page, farm them doing the first job or ask for them on the boss fight page (only if you have less than 5).

You will need a total of 96 Vital Evidence to fully master the district. Use the Strategist, Lockpick, 2X Mastery Boosts and Help Requests strategically to greatly reduce this number. If you use these items as ammo for the boss fight then you will need a lot more.

There are 4 loot items which randomly drop from all jobs. You need at least 50 of the first 3 items to get the 3 stat point bonuses (+5 attack, +5 defense and +5 skill points). There are no bonuses for collecting the last item except for the fact that it is useful to most players. There were no attack vehicles in the VIP loot update so many will want to max on the Hooded Mouse.

If you want to max on the Hooded Mouse, use the Inventory Grouper to see how many you will need. Each one improves my attack equipment score by +10 so I will try. Just click on the red X to see what you need to get.

There aren’t many choices of jobs to do in order to farm loot. The jobs with the best 2 ratios require consumables so those would be out. The third best ratio and most practical job to do would be “Receive Confirmation That Your Conditions Were Met”. It doesn’t require consumables or currency and has a ratio of 2.23. I found on the Gold and Ruby Levels there were no Bandits. This may not be true for all accounts.
farmjob2
farmjob1
The drop rate per job is about the same on Gold and Ruby. Those who want to spend less energy to farm loot will want to stay on Gold. The job only requires X energy as opposed to X on the Ruby level. If you have a ton of energy, you may want to go to Ruby so it doesn’t take as long to level. The choice is yours.

To maximize the loot drops of the first 3 items, take advantage of the 2X Loot Boosts. The Lockpick Bonus also helps. If you use both at the same time, you get 4 times the loot. You can ask your mafia to send you 2X Loot Boosts when the ask button is on, collect up to 30 per day from the news feeds or put them on your wishlist.
There is a drop down tracker on top of the job page which helps you easily check on how many loot items, 2x Loot Boosts and consumables you have on hand. Once you get 10, 25 and 50 of the first three loot items shown above, you get bonus +5 attack points, +5 defense points and +5 skill points as a reward.

Along the way, you will run into those annoying Bandits.  To reduce your level of irritation make sure your Crew queue is full before starting the district. In the past the first job was Bandit free but we didn’t see that with the last Secret District. This time around I didn’t get any Bandits on this job but the ratio of 2.13 makes it one I wouldn’t choose to devote all of my energy to.

Scroll to the bottom of the Secret District Job Page to find the Boss Fight. ESQ. J.Lawless is the boss and works the same as all the other Secret District Bosses. You can attack him with stamina or ammo and he is only available to defeat once per level.  For more details on how Secret District Boss Fights work and instructions for the Spockholm Secret District Boss Fighter, go here.
boss1
ESQ. J.Lawless has a health stats of 2,500, 5,000, 15,000 and 25,000 on the bronze, silver, gold and ruby levels.
boss2
Ammo items do more damage than stamina and it’s best to use them in combos. The three combos for this boss are shown below.

  Yellow:Evidence/Evidence/Knife/Knuckles

The Secret District Boss Fighter by Team Spockholm will let you attack with stamina or consumables to include combos. Just set it up to your liking and watch it do all the clicking.

When you defeat ESQ. J. Lawless, you get a Paycheck. The item has stats of 157/191 on the bronze Level and improves to 187/251 on the ruby.

For each level that you fully master (jobs and the boss fight), you get a Adjourned. This item has stats of 199/145 on the bronze Level and improves to 259/157 on the ruby Level. You must defeat the boss before you get it so don’t freak out if you finish all the jobs and still don’t have this item.
sd1sd2sd3sd4
If you master all the jobs first and then defeat the boss, you will get a combo popup which includes both mastery items. If you defeat the boss prior to completing all the jobs, you will get 2 separate popups for that level.

As stated on the home page banner and in the description, once you fully master the district, you have the option to reset it for 50 reward points. You don’t get any additional time and the skill point bonuses do not apply. You get 36 skill points and 2 mastery items for the cost. If they would charge the same as they do for the pay to play Secret Districts then it would be a better deal. What is nice about this option is if you want to go back to farm loot on a lower level, you have the choice to do so.

    1. I'm in agreement with you on this Jeff. Secret Districts are one of the few facades of this game that I still enjoy. But I would never think about striking out on the journey without the Lovely Loot Ladies help..........
