For whatever reason, many accidentally hide Mafia Wars. When this happens the user can no longer see any Mafia Wars requests and they think there is something wrong. If you ever run across this issue, test it out by using the Mafia Wars filter link below. If it says “There are no more posts to show right now.” and you don’t see others freaking about the same issue, chances are you have hidden the application. To unhide Mafia Wars requests (or any other application), follow the steps below.
1. Go to your home page and located the “News Feed” in the upper left corner right under you profile image. Hover your mouse over “News Feed” until the pencil appears and click on it.
2. A list of the applications that are hidden will appear.
3. Locate the application that you would like to unhide and click on the X in the right column.
4. Click the save button and you are done. Your Mafia Wars requests will now appear in your news feeds.

ReplyDeleteYou need to make sure the Mafia Wars App is on added to your timeline activity log. Then you need to write on each post to have it show up on your wall. If you have given Zynga permission to autopost, you can't write on your posts so they will never appear on your wall unless you get the grouped MW posts box. To write on them while still giving permission to Zynga, the Spock toolbar has a disable autopost option in the configuration page. Otherwise you have to remove to permission to write on your own posts and Zynga will boot you from the game non-stop asking for these permissions. Pick your poison.
Deletemy same problem, i -by mistake- clicked ( hide ) on my grouped mw post that shows on my timeline/wall., now i can't undo this. is there anyway to unhide my grouped mw post on my profile so it appears again on my wall ?? i wrote to fb many times., they did nothing.

ReplyDeleteAsk one of your game friends (that play the game you want unhidden) to make one of their shares public and tag you in it.You will get a notification of that tagging. click on it. Click on the drop down arrow top right of the post and select "Hide all from slotomania slot machines."As soon as you click that the post will disappear and be replaced with grey box with "You will no longer see posts from Slotomania Slot Machines in News Feed. undo Why don't you want to see this?" in it.It is very important that you click "undo" and not x or close/refresh the page.After clicking "undo" the post will reappear. You may need to do this several times and/or refresh newsfeed several times.Remember to have your newsfeed as "most recent" not top "stories" by clicking the drop down arrow beside "newsfeed" and selecting "most recent".You may only start seeing gifts from one or two friends, but over time that improves once your timeline recognizes that you want to see them.Also check "Games Feed" in the left hand column on your newsfeed page for the gifts there
