For many the View from the Top achievements have become the hard ones to get. Once Zynga changed made it impossible to lose Respect, the Highly Respected achievements were no longer an issue but the shift went to the View from the Top. Thanks to the addition of 1-On-1 Challenges and Private Arenas, there is an option for players who are struggling to get these achievement. Keep reading for more details.
The good thing about both newly added features is that 1st place finishes count toward the achievement. One of my wimpy minis was able to get a 1st place finish and every type of account out there will be able to as well.
All you need to do is use the Lobby feature in Spartacus. Put your alternate accounts on auto accept and send invites throughout the day
[1]. You can do this manually as well but it would be a lot more foot work. The important things to remember are that the Arena type will be from whatever the account sending the invite chooses and there is a limit of 5 per account for the 1-On-1 Challenges. There are no limits for Private Arenas but you there is a minimum of 3 players (including yourself). In order to get more 1st place finishes more quickly, you will need to use at least 2 alternate accounts (or friends that will let you win).
I been doing this for a few days wish we could do more than 5 challenges a day i only have 2 minis that can do it. Also wish my acounts were in the invite list for private arena :/

Deletei am using the spartacus private arena lobby and i put in 3 minimum players and put in 2 id's and it says not enough players selected! I even put in my own so there is 3 numbers and same thing! How does this crap work?
ReplyDeleteIt's possible one of the IDs you used is not eligible for the type of room you selected or they don't have enough stam to enter. Also if your mini has a 20 Arena option and you send the request to your main, it will get rejected if you don't have that option. It's really tricky and Zynga only gives 60 seconds to get it right. You need to play around with it for a while until you get used to what will work and what won't for your various accounts. Also the Lobby disconnects a lot. That is a Zynga issue. Keep the box checked to reconnect. You will also fine times when the request won't make it if another challenge was sent to quickly before the first.
DeleteGot it going now thanks :) done 20 arenas now im all out of stamina so bed time (4am) twice the invite did not go through and somehow my main account got put in a public arena when it expired. That sucked! Getting a nice amount of crests i might get to 250 in 4 days never got over 25 before

ReplyDeleteIt started rolling out in Nov of 2012. It was a really slow one but everyone had it by the end of December. I got it right away so was able to get the achievements before 2013 started.
DeleteWhere's the achievement in beating up your own minis? Has no-one got any patience? It was a bad move to make it no lose respect. That was a challenge rather than just turn up enough and you'll automatically collect.
ReplyDeleteTrue but some players can't get a 1st place finish no matter what they do or how many power ups they use. Many of the very strong are on auto and run the Arena 24/7 so those with weaker accounts just can't come in first and will never get these achievements if they don't get crafty about it. When you could lose Respect, there wasn't as much scripting and people were more careful in the Arena. Now they don't care and Zynga mismatches opponents and many can't afford (or don't care to spend) the thousands of dollars it would take to build their stamina or defense.
