Today is the last day for the Craftmania Event. As stated in the in game instructions, it will actually end at 9:00am PDT tomorrow but I make reminder posts at 12am. There was no extension of the timer, the description of the event is "extended time to request upgrade parts". This type of event was appreciated by players who were close to getting the 3 properties fully upgraded. More time would be the only recommendation as there wasn’t enough to fully upgrade and build all 15 items. I suspect we will finally get the Hospital once this event expires [1]. A break would be nice but I don't see that happening.
For those close to finishing or finished, you got a good piece of loot. For those not close, you got another chance to get the property done. I think it was win/win. Only thing that Zynga should had done differently was allow players to take 4 upgrade parts per property instead of just 4.
ReplyDeleteIf all properties were starting at low levels, it was very difficult/impossible to finish all 3 without the free parts, so those that didn't do the math, would not likely had gotten any upgraded to level 15.
A 2X Build or two would've been a nice gesture...

For my main account this event was just fine since all I had to do was craft for 5 days and I was done. However, I tried it out for a mini and I talked to my brother who was in Afghanistan in the Army during the time these properties came out and it was impossible. Like has been said, it takes over 2 weeks just to build the properties and then you have to craft for 5 days. With 3 properties to help on, people get maxed on their clicking ability too quickly and can't click any more properties so 3 properties at once is hard and then you only get 4 upgrade parts total and that does not go far, in addition to glitches that always seem to happen with every property. So more time was needed just to get the properties to level 15 this time much less to be able to craft for 5 days if Zynga expected people to do 3 at once.This only applies to those starting from level 0. At least that is my opinion since I never have any trouble getting clicks for my mini when building a normal property build but this time, no one had a click left it seemed much less 6. Plus I hate to say it, but only a good friend is gonna click all 6 of your property posts and it is a lot to ask to post so many with so much less interest in the game and in properties. I do applaud the fact that they finally listened and gave players a chance to upgrade some properties and I hope they do it again, just maybe a little differently and take some of these difficulties into account.
ReplyDeleteI completed it, ended up spending about 30 RP to craft more quickly (no 2X event until 1.5 hrs too late haha! Thanks, Z!, but I understand you wanna make $) -- but at least I got +6 Stamina for every build, which I need, plus the reward item, so worth it (for now)...
