Back In Blood Limited Time Mission Walkthrough

Share:

The Back In Blood Limited Time Mission has a total of 10 parts and we have 15 days to complete it. Like most of the other Missions, the tasks take one to Brazil, Chicago and London. This Mission is a little heavy on the Arena but that shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. This is the 51st Limited Time Mission and like the last 6, the number of tasks required are based on a variety of factors specific to your account [1]. Yours will most likely be different than the ones shown in this walkthrough. There are some surprise rewards including skill points, reward points and Arena Power Ups. Other than that this Mission isn’t anything different from the previous ones.

All objectives are listed in the text box below. If you want to share them, just copy and paste anywhere you would like. The X represents the number of required tasks and will be different for all players.
Part 1: Pick Of Destiny
a1
Go to District 2 of Brazil and do the job “Dispose of a Police Chief” until you loot the required number of Meow Fists.
a2
The Meow Fist was one of 2 super items that were part of the 13th generation of the Stranger’s Swag feature [1]. At the time they had awesome stats. They may still help some players.
a3
In this Mission, Zynga doesn’t waste any time to bring in the Arena. Players must do a specific amount of damage and damage is equivalent to your score. Depending on your stamina pool and how much is required, it could take 1 Arena or many.
a4
Something new was added to the rewards. In addition to the expected loot item and experience bonus, Arena Power Ups have been added. The experience bonus is different for different accounts and is a percentage of your level. All rewards include this bonus and yours will be different than mine. For completing this part of the Mission players get 1 Swiss Shredder and 2 Arena Health Refills.

Part 2: Highly Strung
b1
The Truck Shop is located in Chicago and can be collected once every 8 hours. Use the Property Module on the home page to make things easier.
b2
Acquire weapons anyway you want. Get them from in game actions like fighting, jobs, robs and the Arena or buy them with in game currency from the City Store. If you really want to make Zynga happy, you can even buy them from the Marketplace. Since the next task requires fighting, you may just want to kill two birds with one stone and move to task 3.
i1
The reward for this part of the Mission are 1 Bean Splitter and +3 skill points. The skill points are a nice addition and were offered in the past. Unfortunately there was an exploit and they were removed. I guess Zynga feels they patched the bug that can generate a lot of skill points for some players. Don’t get too excited because it only worked on accounts that hadn’t mastered Las Vegas.

Part 3: Strummer’s Pride
c1
The first task has been very problematic for players. Whenever anything needs to be looted in the Arena some accounts are infected with a nasty bug and the items don’t drop. I do hope Zynga has fixed this because it’s not fun to see so many players quit the Mission early on because they can’t get the loot. After each Arena, any Fake Police IDs that drop will be on the results page. You will need to scroll to the end to see how may you got. The more stamina you spend, the more you should earn. If you want to finish this quickly, do the 500 Arenas.
c3
Fake Police IDs were an item from the 14th generation of Stranger’s Swag [1].
c4
Go to District 3 of London and do the job “Work With The PI At The Crime Scene” the required number of times. This job costs 756 energy if ruby mastered.
c5
Ask your mafia for Power Card by clicking on the “Ask” button from the Mission Page.
c2
For some accounts these requests don’t shut off. As you can see I only needed 5 Power Cards but I ended up with 72. I would have held off on collecting the rewards (which shuts the request down) if it weren’t for this walkthrough.
c7
The rewards are 1 Black Buck and 3 Hired Guns. I think we could all do without the Hired Guns!

c8

Part 4: Elevator Muzak
d1
Go to District 2 of Chicago and do the job “Case Warehouses on the North Side” until you loot the required number of Superunis.
d2
The Superuni is an unreleased item from the 13th generation of Stranger’s Swag. Collectors will rejoice!
d3
Get some ices in the Arena and help in some wars. You get 1 ice per 500 stamina spent in the Arena and credit for helping in wars is granted as soon as you help and not when the war is over.
d4
d5
The rewards include 1 Rodeo Clown and 3 reward points which is cool.
d6

Part 5: Fretboard Scratch
e1
Click the “Ask Now” button to get useless consumables from your mafia. The Bottoms Up serves no purpose other than to complete the task and the will fester in your inventory until the end of time (or until you dump them with the Vla-a-Nator).
e2e3
Clear 2 Robbing Boards from any destination and craft from your Armory. This part may slow some players down. I needed to craft 3 items and there were still 6 hours on my timer. If it weren’t for this walkthrough I would have had to wait about 2 days to get it done. You can buy off the task but it’s to your advantage to speed up your timer in order to get the skill points.
e4
The rewards are 1 Swiss Shredder, 1 Bean Splitter and 2 free skill points.

Part 6: Body Knocker
f1
Getting Crew Members should be easy.  All you need to do is ask for them in Brazil, Chicago or London. You need to make sure there is room in your queue or it won’t work. If your queue is at 32, activate some of your bonuses or kill some Bandits to make room. If your ask button is not available and you don’t want to wait, you can also accept Crew requests from your ZMC or scan the news feeds. Any time you are added to a Crew, you get credit for this task.
b2
b1
Robbing Sports Stadiums can be done from the London Robbing Boards or you can target rob them. If you want to save stamina, use Robber Redux which is in the Spockholm Toolbar and load it for Sports Stadiums. You will use way less stamina with this option.
f2
Go fight in some Arenas. Just because you join a fight, doesn’t mean you have to use stamina. If you are conserving, just join and do nothing. You will get credit. I scored 0 points and it counted. Because Zynga doesn’t match players up very well, I was also able to pass out some Respect to my opponents and that made me feel good.
f3
The rewards are 1 Black Buck, 1 Rodeo Clown and 1 Reflector.

Part 7: Slap That String
g1
This part of the Mission is pretty straight forward and may cause a few delays. War can be declared every 8 or 6 hours depending on your level of Family Progression. You can collect from your Royal Bank every 8 hours. Use the home page to make it easier.
g2
The rewards are 1 Bean Splitter, 1 Black Buck and 5 Hired Guns.

Part 8: Funk Stomp
h1
“Get Support from your mafia” can be a pain if you encounter bugs.  You need to get players to join your Mission Crew.  Using the Gift Blaster makes it easier. If you have trouble, go here for instructions on how to work around some of the bugs associated with this type of task.
d6
Loot the required number of Threaded Snakes from robbing in any destination.
h2
You guessed it, the Threaded Snake is an old Stranger’s Swag item. This time from generation 14 [1].
h3
The rewards are 1 Swiss Shredder, 1 Rodeo Clown and 1 Kamikaze.
h4h5h6

Part 9: Throw It In The Deep
i1
This part of the Mission is self explanatory. If your required number of tasks are high like mine, don’t make the mistakes that I did.  Ensure you have empty spots in your Crew queue and really make sure you ice in London. Unfortunately, I iced in Chicago and had to start all over! Depending on how many items you need to craft from your Private Zoo, this task could set you back a day or two.
i2
The rewards include the 1st of 2 “Grand Prize” items and 5 free skill points.
i3

Part 10: Gods Of Guitars
j1
All tasks in the Bonus Mission are repeats from Parts 1,4 and 5. A little creativity would be nice. Go to District 1 of Brazil and do the job until you have looted more Meow Fists. Get more Arena Ices and ask for more useless consumables.
j2
The rewards for the Bonus Mission are another Beefed Up and 5 reward points.
j3
j5
Once you collect your rewards for Part 10, the Mission banner will disappear and will appear as expired in your Missions log.
missionlog
For review, the total number of rewards for completing all parts of this Mission are 2 Beefed Ups, 3 Swiss Shredders, 3 Bean Splitters, 3 Black Bucks, 3 Rodeo Clowns, 10 Skill points, 8 Reward Points, 8 Hired Guns, 2 Health Refills, 1 Reflector and 1 Kamikaze. And for those who will point out and ask why the Rodeo Clown isn't active in my inventory, it's because Zynga botched up a loot rollback [1].

    1. The number of items/ices needed depend on the level, just like the exp. reward.

    2. a way to change the setting to public (or any other setting) for a specific app. is:
      - Click on the privacy settings from the option button in the top right corner in any facebook page.
      - Click on "Apps" from the left bar
      - Navigate to Mafia Wars and click on edit (you may need to click on 'Show All Apps (**) ' if you have lots of apps)
      - Change the "Visibility of app and posts" to whatever public or to specific people/groups you want and you could even eliminate specific people/groups from seeing the posts (this only affects Mafia Wars posts whether they are automatic or manual posts.

Hope it is easy to follow :)

  6. Oh look. Shameless promoting of the Arena and doing the same old jobs we've done over and over in missions. All the jobs out there they could have us do, but every mission uses "Work with the PI at the crime scene" at least in one round.

  7. I have to ICE 90 OPPONENTS IN LONDON. My friend only had 30 and he's a higher level than me....why is this ??? Not fair.

    1. Did it ever occur to you that this icing difficulty level could be based on the amount of stamina you have in your account and not your level

    2. I only have 3005 stamina and I'm sure my friend has more than than I do. I still say it's not fair.

  11. I can't my collecting of the Royal Bank to register for Slap that String part of the mission - do you think the remainder of the loot is worth the 24 RP to finish the mission?

    1. Absolutely. Loot makes a huge impact when you're fighting. You could also just tell Customer Support and they'll fix it for you.
