There will be 15 Operations floating around the news feeds for the next few weeks. The energy and stamina requirements on some of them seem a little overwhelming to players but the payout experience is great. Many have asked for a breakdown of the ratios for each job and that information is included. For a review of the loot item rewards and Operation basics, go here. The chart below shows the ratios for all jobs in each of the 15 Operations. They are in of what is posted above. The medium and hard Operations have much better payouts but require a lot more energy and/or stamina. The loot rewards are also better.

You can only initiate 1 of each Operation but you can help on as many you like. If you are having trouble getting your mafia to help you, use the Operation-a-Nator to post your requests anywhere. You don’t have to be friends or in each others mafia to help. You can also post for additional help on Operations that you are a helper. To launch, type any part of Operation-a-Nator into the Spockholm Toolbar. Make sure you are on the page which displays the Operations you want to post.
Click on “Load Operations” and select which link shortening service you would like to use. Spockon is recommended.
Click on “TinyURL” next to the Operation and a variety of text options will appear. Copy these and paste them where ever you want. There are many group being formed for players to help each other get these finished. Please use the comments to list your group or add one that was helpful.
To look for Operations that you can help in, use the Operation/War Hunter, also by Team Spockholm. This script will only scan for Operations which aren’t completed. To launch, type any part of Operation/War Hunter into the Spockholm Toolbar.
All the new Operations are currently listed as “Unknown”. Click on those and start your scan.
When the scan is complete, click on “open Operations”.
Click on the “[Operation (NW)]'” link to open each one and then you can help if you so desire.
The queue for mafia Operations can hold up to 10 Operations. If you are full, you will have to wait until Operations are complete before you can do more. This often causes drama because a slacker or a camper can end up in one and it may never be finished. To contact any player in your Operations, hover your mouse over the profile image and a window will slide out from the left side of the game. You can click on the link provided to get their Mafia Wars Profile link, then use Switch to find their Facebook profile and send them a message. Often this doesn’t work so be careful which Operations you choose to help with. The only player who can boot players from a Operation is the initiator.
Maybe its just me, but i maxed on helping in 10 Ops last night, maybe that has changed since, or maybe its a glitch on the server, just saying :)
ReplyDeleteThe queue will only hold 10. You need to collect the rewards to make some disappear then you can help with more.
DeleteI can help only 8 ops. Keeps saying that I can help only ten (as it is). At the same time I do one pos all my own ops. Looks like my own "help" is counting to this ten...
DeleteAny idea if these new ops are causing overload on the servers returning the constant errors on posting?

Maybe it has something to do with the changes to the popups when someone likes/comments on a post?
One thing there is needed, is to post your reward after completing mission. and that is a mess, i have finished my silver mastery and working on gold. but unfortunately wasn't able to collect any reward for my mini, as people collect it fast, so there should be a post link so if we want to support our mini we can collect reward for them. any suggestion LL?

ReplyDeleteLol, no offense but it's a lot overwhelming and the experience may be great but the tradeoff is only worth it if you are speed leveling frantically and willing to give up everything to do it. Tell me that I'll get a million xp for spending 25 times my energy or stam on one operation job and I'll say "So what?"
I agree that the energy and stamina requirements are excessive and was going to stop after finishing the easy missions until I saw this post. Thank you Jen. The resource requirements are too high for many but those experience ratios on some of those medium and hard operations are great for stamina and energy rich accounts. I'm going to continue posting them after seeing this.
