The Ice Board is back! We told you it was coming a few days ago [1]. What we didn’t know at the time was it was going to kick in hours after the Family Inheritance Event ended. Zynga must not want their script users to take a break! This is the 5th run of the Ice Board and it is the type that requires you be in a family to participate and have at least 5 members to be rewarded. The timer started several hours shy of 7 days.
The rules and rewards can be viewed by clicking on the help mark from the banner.
There are two types of Ice Boards which can be accessed from the “ICEBOAD” tab on the Home Page The Family Ice Board includes you and 48 other members of your family (less if you have less members). The Global Ice Board includes all players. Players can usually view the top 3 global icers and the rest of the slots will be taken by players with a similar rank to you. You can toggle between the two.

The 3 players who are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd on the Global Iceboard will get a Hearse Majesty in the order shown below.
If you aren’t in a family, you won’t be eligible for the Family Ice Board. The same applies if your family has less than 5 members.
why it was reset??
ReplyDeleteDon't know about you, but my iceboard reset itself a couple of minutes ago.
ReplyDeleteDid they reset it? Earlier today it said that I had 65 ices, now it is only showing 6. Other family members saying the same as well.

Something stinks in the Event today!! Several of us in my Family were working on building our Ice for it. I had built up 133 Ice. Went to do something else, came back and every member of my family had been rolled back to 0. Where I once had 133 Ice, I now had 2!! What the Devil is going on here????

Me and my family members just saw that our scores in the Iceboard reseted back to zero.Can someone share if he has the same issue? And what would you suggest us to do? Thank you very much!

ReplyDeleteSomeone should make a point of getting exactly one ice. The global ranking for that account would give a fairly good measure of active players. Sure, it would exclude players who aren't in families, or anyone on vacation, but most players worth counting will get at least two ices.
ReplyDeletewe tried that but it ranks all like ices so you would need to find the magic account that gets the last zero so the first 1 is above it. The Arena offers a better way. One player got his respect to 0 and the players above him are around 400 so we got a good idea from that. It's was around 350K total. The only criteria is the accounts would need to do the tutorial for the Arena and Zynga pretty much forced that.

ReplyDeleteThe reason is quite simple. It's a way for Zynga to separate us from our money! Our family kept in close contact with each other throughout the event. The fact is, the people in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place all had lists showing them as being in 1st place. I know this, as I was 1st in my list, but in reality I was 2nd behind the real 1st place leader. The person in 3rd was also displayed in her list as being 1st., but in reality was 3rd. When payoff time came only the 1st place leader got paid. It was a sneaky under-handed thing they did to motivate us to maintain our "make believe" leads, I'll never compete in these events competively again. By the way, the Job Board is constructed the same way. Left with a bad taste!
