One good thing I did discover about the Arena is it acts much like the Experience Bandit does when it comes to energy. If you find yourself in a situation where you would level up before using all your stamina, you can enter an Arena fight. You don’t level up in the Arena so all the stamina you bring with you can be utilized regardless of how close you are to leveling. In the example below, I would waste over half my stamina fighting, robbing or doing stamina jobs because I would level up before it was all consumed.
By going to the Arena, I was able to use most of the stamina in my pool and got more experience than I would have fighting because the level up was postponed until the fight was over. You can see the extra additional experience I got from this carried over to the next level. If it's deemed the rewards for the Arena are not worth the stamina expenditure then at least there is one more feature to give it some purpose. At this time, the Arena offers a good way to burn stamina quickly and a way to prevent wasting stamina from a level up.
