It appears Zynga tried to mess with the reward point protection feature of the Spockholm Toolbar [1]. Shortly after the feature was released, Zynga created different looking purchase buttons which broke the feature. It didn’t take Team Spockholm very long to rewrite the feature and now all purchase buttons are once again protected. To learn how to use this feature, go here. The reasons for redesigning certain reward point purchase buttons will never be known but something is fishy about it (see below). To show players the intent was not to increase the odds of accidental purchases, Zynga should incorporate their own protection system.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great feature of Team Spockholm, and much kudos to them. The failure of Zynga to put confirmation on all their purchase buttons just shows you what a sleazy company they are.
ReplyDeleteYes. For some odd reason I keep losing my Spockholm Toolbar settings as well - all preferences, config options for various tools, etc. get reset to default about once a week or so.
ReplyDeleteweekly house cleaning? deleting your cookies? I only have this problem when I do a cleanup and delete cookies and temp files on my browser.

ReplyDeleteWithout some of the great tools these guys and others write this game would be awful.
Hats off to all the script writers for not only having the knowledge to write the scripts but for having the imagination and foresight to come up with brilliant ideas such as this one.
When I crafted an item in London (jack the ripper) box came up and stated "build again for 0 RP". I clicked the button and lost 16 RP, grrrrrrrrrrrrr.
