Many of us like to hoard our special Mystery Bags so we can open 20 more once Zynga pulls them from the game. This time around players were unable to do this as pending Cyber Mystery Bags (which were less than 48 hours old) returned error messages. If a gift returns a error, it doesn’t go away and will remain in your ZMC until it gets bumped. Opening gifts which contain errors do not count for Family Progression. There isn’t much you can do about it expect wait for them to get bumped. Many are questioning if this was an intentional move by Zynga to prevent players from opening extra special Mystery Bags. It could also just be a bug.
“Something has gone wrong. This error has been logged and we’re looking into it".”

“Something has gone wrong. This error has been logged and we’re looking into it. And as it doesn't Involve spending RPs, We will ignore it.”
they were removed from my inventory after the error message was displayed.
ReplyDeletewould be nice if they were at least converted to blue bags, as they had done in the past
Yesterday I wrote to them AND chatted with support. (and you are spot on when you say we hoard them and time it to collect before they expire)
ReplyDeleteThe response from the email:
I understand that you're receiving an error message when you try to accept the Cyber Mystery Bags, this is normal, since the Event is over already. The Cyber Mystery Bags you still had pending to accept are automatically turned into Blue Mystery Bags.
I responded that they weren't due to expire and they aren't turning to blue bags. I don't expect they'll do anything.
Thanks Jen - I thought it was just me.
ReplyDeleteWhat also sucks is that anything you open that switches to something else (special bags over 20, family property parts over 20, power packs when you're full, event items after it ends) don't count toward progression either, even when the item that gets substituted (usually a blue mystery bag) WOULD count if it had been gotten as a normal gift. Making matters worse is that you have to count the Cyber, etc. bags yourself, as they don't have the "you can claim X more today" warnings that the others do.
ReplyDeleteDo you think Zynga will ever make or produce helpful info to players.
DeleteNope Never.
and that's where Spockholm comes to the rescue.
