The Recent Bug Fixes was a short lived series on the Mafia Wars Blog. I was glad to see they brought it back. There hasn’t been one of these types of posts since Feb 7th [1]. Below are 14 bug fixes that Zynga claims they have made. Links are provided to report if you are still experiencing problems. Many of the bug fixes involve Family Battles. A major bug that hasn’t been fixed is what many refer to as the “Family Hack”. It is still possible for any player to join any family without an invite. This was reported over 2 months ago and really needs to be fixed.
1. Missing Collect' button
Issue:Some Players reported that the Collect' button disappears even for the family battles the user has participated.

2. Family battle ices and attacks on safe house are not changing the family score
Issue:Some Players reported that Family battle ices and attacks on safe house are not changing the family score or leader board ice count.

3. User's are able to get rewards for the family battles which they did not participate in.

4. Fighting - Player receives large amount of London cash while fighting in London.

5. Players do not receive family battle loot
Issue:Some players reported that they were not able to receive family battle loot.
Status:Resolved around 11:16pm on 03/Apr/12 By design: The members has to participate in the battle if they have to receive the reward. Just by being a member doesn’t entitle them to receive rewards. 6. Player not able to click on "Report Abusive Behavior" link on player profile page.

7. Poker request feed expiring within seconds of posting.
Issue:Some players reported that their poker request feeds are expiring within seconds of being posted.

8. Help counter fails to reset after 24 hours for the user in "Declare War"
Issue:Some players reported that if the user has helped 5 times in "War" on a particular day and after 24 Hours the user tries to help in war, it is observed that user is not eligible for the helper reward and the user can still help his friend with the particular "Declared War", but will not receive a helper reward again for the mentioned time.

9. "DoEndGame" for expired war not being computed.
Issue:Some players reported that if they have an expired war and then they declare war from the buttons on the fight page, or the buttons on the profile page, it wouldn't compute the "DoEndGame" for their expired war.

10. Family Boss Fights - Failing To Receive Loot Rewards For Participation
Issue: Some players reported that they are failing to receive loot rewards at the conclusion of Family Boss Fights in which they participate.

Issue: Some players reported that some opponent family members are not appearing in Family Battles.

I just collected from a battle I was not involved in but previously I couldn't do that.
Why would anyone complain about bug N4??

Same old BS from Zynga. The family battle bug #2, ices or safe house attacks has been fixed - wrong.
ReplyDeleteOn 4/21 had a battle where we had points for ices & then they disappeared. Course the other family also said later they had 2x the normal Chicago health - so 2 bugs for family battles that need to be fixed.

DeleteI am participating in the family battles. I was third on the list and recieved no reward. I have not recieved a reward for the past few weeks for battles I participated in or not. I have been complaining to zynga. But nothing has been fixed.
