Yesterday the 7th Family Boss, Lily O’Valley, was introduced. She has a familiar look and Batman fans figured it out right away.
For all you DC Comic fans, she should remind you of Poison Ivy also known as Pamela Lillian Isley.

Poison Ivy was portrayed by Uma Thurman in the 1997 film Batman & Robin.
Uma Thurman is a much hotter version of Poison Ivy than Lily O’Valley but you can definitely see the similarities.
An interesting observation pointed out by Fade_to_Slack is that Lily O’Valley is a reference to the “Lilly of the Valley” plant shown at the end of the 4th season of AMC’s Breaking Bad. For fans of this show, it was a very powerful scene.

ReplyDeleteI may know some things you guys don't but this Boss is suppose to be modeled after Poison Ivy. The name Lily should be a clue. Of course she doesn't look just like her but I have nothing to do with the art.
