London District 2: East End Story

Share:

District 2 of London is called East End Story. Like District 1, there are 8 jobs with 4 levels.  Go here for a review London. This post will outline the jobs, ratios, and loot of District.d21

The images and captions for jobs 1-8 are shown in order below. d2image1d2image2d2image3d2image4d2image5d2image6d2image7d2image8Once again, the basic “Do Job” button that we have seen for years has changed. The new job buttons display the action of the job description. I’m not sure if I like this change because words like “Collect” and “Travel” describe other game actions. If I click on a “Collect” button, I expect to get something for it and not to spend energy.

The job descriptions, payouts and requirements for each level are shown below. The energy costs are higher than in District 1 and reveal that London is going to be just like Brazil and Chicago. Many were hoping that London would have more low energy jobs like the destinations which got us all playing Mafia Wars to begin with.

The energy/experience ratios are not much better than District 1.

Once you master the first job on the Bronze Level, the second property, the East End Pub will unlock and you can start upgrading.

There are icons for two consumables items that are made in District 2. The Jagged Edge is required for jobs in District 2 and nobody knows what Condo Keys will be needed for. It’s possible they could be for future districts.

The Jagged Edge is acquired by doing the second job “Meet The Land Mafia To Collect Your Take”.d2con4Condo Keys are acquired by doing the 3rd job, “Intimidate The New Celebrity Residents”. d2con5You will want to farm consumable items on the Bronze Level because you will use less energy. Use your Strategist/Lockpick bonuses and 2X Mastery boosts strategically and you won’t need as many consumable items. Jagged Edges  are required for two of the jobs in District 2.d2con6The mastery percentages given per job are high so not many Jagged Edges are required. At this time they are not giftable.

5 9% 12 48
7 12% 9 36

The equipment items, cost and number needed for District 2 are shown below. Costs will vary depending on your Abelha Helicopter bonus from Brazil which reduces the price of City Store items. None of the items are needed for District 1 so if you are short on Pounds, you can sell those items for 50% of what you paid for them.
d2equipmentTo purchase equipment items, just click the “Buy” button which will appear before you start a new job. If you find these popups annoying, you can go buy all the required items in the London City Store.

There are a total of six loot items that drop randomly from all District 2 jobs.
d2loot1 The drop rates aren’t that great and are about the same on the Bronze and Ruby Levels. You will spend much less energy per item on the Bronze Level so if the items above help your equipment scores, it’s best to farm them when the job costs are cheaper.

Once you master each level, you get a East End Lightning which starts out with stats of 102/177 on the Bronze Level and improves to 132/237 on Ruby. The item has a special ability in that it grants you a +1%, +2%, +4%, +6% damage for fighting in London. You can not add the Bronze, Silver and Gold starred item to your Family Properties.

  1. It allowed me to add the Gold-star East End Lightning to my bunker defense. I added it through Spock's Defender bookmark. It didn't color code it as a vehicle but my bonus for having one of each is intact and my defense bonus went up. Now if only I had remembered to do it with the other 2 districts before I finished them....

  3. Was the ruby level East End Lightning added to your inventory, or to the bunker defense?
