Maybe Zynga will level the playing field and someday rollback the accounts of players who used a exploit to get a free advantage over players who spend money on the game [1]. If they ever do correct the injustice, it would look something like this.
They probably won’t do anything so this is a more realistic caption.
and what about all the 'glitches' you've exploited? Does that mean you've cheated too?
ReplyDeleteWas waiting for that one, it only took 6 minutes! There is a huge difference in using glitches to finish features or get things a little faster but exploits that gain you items like loot and skills some of which are impossible to acquire is a whole different story. If a glitch will probably lead to a rollback or put those at risk who use it, it will not be posted here. Things like extra property part requests, etc.. which have been around and used by the masses will. It depends on your definition of cheating. Some would say those who use scripts (even switch) are cheating. As a paying customer, I don't like that I have to pay for extra skill points and loot while a lot got it all for free. I will never catch up so what's the point. Without players who spend money, development of Mafia Wars would stop so even if you don't spend, you should be upset over this problem too. It will be addressed in the new PAC so if they aren't aware yet, they will be.
DeleteSo let me get this right? They want us to do their jobs for them? And the prize is, them letting us do their jobs for them! Win all around (dull)
ReplyDeleteDamn! Always gotta be at least one hater... And always gotta post as anonymous too. You'd think that the people who "hate" you so much wouldn't even bother to read or access your page, but I guess they don't hate you THAT much.
ReplyDeleteMarkus "The Abominable" Pinkus finally realizes that greed has destroyed the best thing he ever created...and contemplates the true meaning of the subpoena he just received from the SEC for securities fraud...
ReplyDeleteDon't give up your day jobs...
I wonder if all the haters are the cheats, and upset about being found out..
ReplyDeleteSometimes...cheating is the ONLY way to prosper. If "cheating" in this game includes running scripts, then I am guilty. If it weren't for this blog and scripts I would have been gone a long, long time ago.
ReplyDeleteNo way to participate. The login will not accept my password. So once again there will be a Zynga promotion that many will not be allowed to achieve. We need to find a way to submit entries through an open thread.
ReplyDeleteThere is a big piece of me that still believes the game is real. When I hit a player and he is 350,000 plus and his picture above his shoulder says Harvard Law. I truly believe money walks and BS talks.
ReplyDeleteIt's a game that people play to pass time, it's not a big deal that others have found a way to make the game more enjoyable. Playing the game the way the designers have it laid out is a drag, at least with the assistance of scripts and gadgets, it's easier to complete jobs and tasks that with out help, makes the game a bore for leveling and completion in a timely manner before they decide to open new cities is near impossible. Sure if you have a BIG wallet then you can buy your way to completion, it's a game, not a retirement investment. Those whom cry foul, are probably doing the same thing, just not smart enough to know how to use the tools available.
ReplyDeleteI love the game and I don't use "scripts". Never have and I don't plan on starting now. Granted, I am only level 131 or so, but I invite the challenge of playing the game in an honest way. So what Mr. Anonymous is saying is bologna. And I haven't put a single dime of money, real or fake, into the game. If it takes me a long time to complete a mission then so be it. It's just a game. If you feel you need to be the best at this little game, then you clearly lacking something elsewhere.
