It’s Reigning Women Marketplace Promotion

As predicted, there is another  Marketplace Promotion [1]. This one is called “It’s Reigning Women”. I don’t think anyone could have predicted that and I can’t figure out where it came from. Mike Nestor stays current with all things related to women and he informed me that yesterday was International Women’s Day [1]. Zynga must have ran out of ideas and the guy in charge of this one was inspired by the porn left open in another window.



It’s Reigning Women is the same Marketplace Promotion we see every time. The only difference is the fine print changed and is more descriptive. They now tell us that purchases made outside of the Marketplace don’t count. Items selling for 5 reward points now qualify and they removed the Loyalty Program and Pawn Shop from the exclusion list (as if anyone would buy anything from Trader Goh!).

*Offer ends March 12th at 11:59PM PST. Only Items selling in the Marketplace are eligible for this reward. However, Items selling for less than 5 RP, Treasure Chest Items and Skill Point Reallocation do not count toward the prize.

*Items selling for 5RP or less, Loyalty Program Items, Pawn Shop, Treasure Chest Keys and Skill Point Reallocation are not eligible for the prize.

If you make 15 qualifying purchases, you will be rewarded with a Mean Girl which has stats of 119/188.

I always wonder why Zynga digressed from the Deathstalker which was the reward for the Black Fridat Revenge Marketplace Promotion. That bad boy had stats of 217/100 and there were many more bragging news feed posts than promotions after it.

The Fight Club is located in the Marketplace and is not on the list of exclusions. Now that purchases of 5 reward points count, one could assume that the energy refill for 5 reward points would be a qualifying purchase. The only safe thing to assume is that Zynga will make mistakes and they need to add the Fight Club to the fine print as the energy refill is not a qualifying purchase.

There is a 50% discount offer on reward point purchases but your best bet is to hold off and redeem Game Cards.

If you redeem a Game Card, you will get a 50% redemption bonus and you end up getting more reward points than you would if you purchase them. If you don’t feel like leaving your house to buy a Game Card, you can get them online from WalMart here or take your changes with Zynga here. I haven’t had good luck buying Game Cards directly from Zynga as they often take over 12 hours to get.

Origami Crates are on sale for 8 reward points each and the old Mime Crates for 6 reward points. This is the preferred way by many to get 15 qualifying purchases. Even though you will save a reward point for buying 3 Mime Crates at the same time, it’s not the best deal because you only get one tick mark.

There are four Limited Edition loot items that will only be available for the duration of the promotion. It’s strategically foolish to use reward points on loot items but the Ladylike is cool and I may break down and get one!
