UPDATE: After about 6 hours, the Stranger's Swag banner on the Home and Free Gift Pages were pulled. You can still get two items by clicking on news feed requests but you will be unable to ask for 3.
I think this will be the last post I make about the Stranger’s Swag. It’s a waste of time to post and read about. If Zynga is reading, please note that nobody likes this crap you are throwing at us in order to get some spam posts in the news feeds.
I noticed today that these posts are not overpopulating the news feeds and that’s a sign that players are not bothering anymore. If they would offer items that were helpful to most players then it would be enjoyable and many would participate.
What is making this more pathetic than it needs to be is most of these items are throw backs from the Don’s Gift Event. They were useless way back then and even more useless now! Everyone should check their show worst items Spocklet and if if the Stranger’s Swag item doesn’t improve your score, don’t generate the spam!

2. for anyone who's addicted enough to MW to read your posts these are completely useless!
3. when the Don't Gift event was on some of the items got upgraded midway, perhaps this will happen again (and yes, i said two points but i also said contradictory!)
I vote no need to blog about. They give it a big banner and you either click share or not. Some collectors that read this page might like the reports but it ain't rocket science to figure out they are in the game
ReplyDeleteLooks like it's been pulled - many/most don't have the event in the Social Module any more. Would have been nice to have one even if I couldn't use it now on the assumption it might have become giftable to someone who could use it later. Oh well, in any case it's gone!
ReplyDeleteI love this blog but the thing you seem to forget time and time again is that not everybody runs scripts to max out on the latest fight loot the minute it is released.
ReplyDeleteI'd be willing to bet that this item benefits the majority of players. Ever heard of a new player? They're out there.
Just because it's no use to you doesn't make it crap. As has been mentioned, not every MW player relies on bots to do everything for them. I'm willing to bet that these items have helped the majority of players.
ReplyDeleteMuch as I love this blog and find a lot of what you post helpful, it really would be an idea to cut out the "it doesn't help me so it's crap" mantra you've started preaching recently as it's disrespectful to lower level players.
im going to have agree with most posts here. of all the stuff recently put out by this stranger this is the one item that will benefit most in the game. 102 def plane is better then the last 100 def boat that was released in the winter as fhel the troller. not huge gain but its free so there for good. always liked your site but sometimes you forget most ppl dont have max boss loot or havent been using cuba loot for 8 months not maxed on it anyways. this loot is also very great for new players maybe giving them some sort of reason to stay.
