A few days ago, I changed the format of the daily bonus links because many requested that they be shown in the summary post. Many complained that they could no longer copy the links to share them. For those who don’t know the ins and outs of copy/paste, this outline should help. If you copy by highlighting (copy or control +C), the link will appear as the text when you paste it.
To paste the actual link so your friends can click on it, follow the instructions below.
1. Go to the link you wish to copy.
2. Hover your mouse over the link.
3. Right click on your mouse. If you are using Chrome as your browser, select “Copy link address”.
If you are using FireFox, select “Copy Link Location”.
4. Go to Facebook or wherever you want to paste the link.
5. Right click on your mouse and select “Paste” or just hit control +V.
The link will now appear as a url instead of text. Click on the “x” to remove the link preview if you want the post to appear cleaner.
Once you post, the link(s) will be hyperlinked and whoever you are sharing them with can just click on them.

ReplyDeleteThere is plenty to blog about, this was necessary because of all the comments and emails I got from people complaining that the links are no longer in the http format and they couldn't share them.

ReplyDeleteactually there are alot of people who never had a word processing class, and facebook is their first steps into computers, cut-n-paste was a real treat dos days died out, but even then on dos word perfect had cut-n-paste.

While some do not know how to do it, it does not make them dumber than others, they just haven't been shown how to do it. That being said, I personally liked the links all ready to be copied and pasted to my mafia. This way, it takes going back and forth, etc. I appreciate all your efforts to try and please everyone but that will never happen b/c somebody is gonna gripe no matter how hard you work to help us. I want to personally thank you for all your hard work no matter what you do!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
