The Gift Blaster was recently updated to include an option to search for specific players. You will this functionality right above the start button. All you need to do is click on the “Select people by name” link and a search bar will appear.
3Once you have the search bar up, just type the name of the player you would like to send a gift to.
After you find the right person, just click on their name or the “Add” button.
The Facebook ID # of the person you selected will be added to the Gift Blaster
If you want to add more than one person, just repeat the process but use a different name. If you want to save your selections to be used in the future, click on the “Save list” button and it will be saved.
Additional gifts that aren’t on the Free Gift Page but Zynga still allows to be send were also added to the Gift Blaster. Just use the drop down menu to check them out.
If you want to look up a player’s (or your own) Facebook ID#, the Gift Blaster feature explained above can be used for that as well. This “logic” was applied to the Stream Scanner and now you can use it to scan individual walls. It’s very experimental at the moment and players with large mafias will have problems. I couldn’t get it to work. If you want to try it, click on the “Custom list” button.
Add the Facebook ID# of the wall you want to scan inside the box. Use the Gift Blaster feature to get the ID# if you don’t know it. Click the “Start Scanning” to begin.
A nice addition to the Stream Scanner is you can now be more selective in the times you want to scan. Before this update, your only option was to go back however many hours you wished. There is now a “Hours to skip” box so you can select specific times you want the scan to happen.
For example, if it’s 3am and I want to scan all Mafia Wars requests made from Midnight to 1am, I can skip the last two hours and get a time specific scan. You would want to do this if you’ve already scanned a particular time frame or target a specific time in which there would be more types of the posts you are looking for.

Nice upgrade,Been hoping that they make stream scanner more family friendly,so u can get everything done quickly for helper....... If it dont work properly yet, u can bet ya a$$ it wont be long till Spock has it 100% ........Keep Up The Great Work, I personally would not & could not play MW without Spockholm Apps....... Bottom Line !!
ReplyDeleteMy family helped me a lot in my feeds but I couldn't return the favor. Either it was too late for me to respond or they have too many mafia to help them. Stream scanner would be a cool idea to help my family.

ReplyDeletei use the gift blaster, im not sure if this is a glitch you have talked about in the past but my current mafia is around 2200, when i send gifts to everyone my entire mafia returns to the gifting page and i can send unlimited gifts to whoever i choose, i have done a little work and it seems to reset around 1000 gifts sent, once i reach that point i then send many gifts to help the family out, again not sure if this is something you have covered before but can be a big help for getting the helper part of the daily family missions done, plus help lowers that dont get many gifts

ReplyDeleteIt seems to be working fine for me, however, if you could post something about using Expert Mode it would be incredibly helpful. I have tried adjusting the percentage of gifts to be sent but cant seem to get it right. I have looked for a post explaining it but cant seem to find anything, my apologies if I am blind today, but I would really like to send multiple gifts instead of sending the same gift to everyone in my Mafia. Thank you in advance for any assistance you might offer. Stacy
ReplyDeleteCan you use Gift Blaster or another app to send your Family Properties Parts, Artillery Shells or Reinforced Concrete, from the list that appears on the Family Properties Page and not the Gift Page list?
