Earlier I told you that Zynga updated the End Of Days Limited Time Mission (1). I was very happy because this meant that players would be able to complete it within 14 days. I was concerned because I had spent so many Reward Points to finish it in order to provide a timely Mission Walk Through. I did write to Customer Support asking if any of those Reward Points would be refunded. Today, forgotn, Super Moderator, made an announcement about the update and stated that players who spent Reward Points would be refunded next week (1). In case you are wondering, forgotn is a Super Moderator for CityVille. Cerulean Master and Rinzler have left because their contracts expired. Zynga hasn't replaced them with someone who knows Mafia Wars like those two did. Their absence has been noticed by many and the Forums are not the same.

Mission Event: End of Days Today we retuned our quest event to reduce the difficulty of some tasks that were set to be more difficult than intended. We made these changes quickly so that players would have enough time to complete the new mission tasks. We would also like to assure those who spent RP to complete any mission tasks will have those RP refunded next week. Thanks, The Mafia Wars Team |
Thanks to Roger Rellik for posting this forum announcement on the Mafia Wars Loot Lady Fan Page.

You say that Cerulean Master and Rinzler have left because their contracts expired. I find that VERY strange indeed. Zynga Support told me in an E-mail that forum mods had nothing to do with the company and as such could/would not reverse any decision made by the moderators (wrong or right)
ReplyDeleteNow you say they had Contracts.....mmmmm something aint right.
Does this mean you got the entire mission done for free? If so, how is that fair? IF IT IS SO THEN I AM DONE WITH ZYNGSHIT!!!!
ReplyDelete@Lee, Forum Moderators are not employees of Zynga. They go in with contracts and once they expire they have to take 3 months off.
ReplyDelete@Spirit, this is Zynga so I'm sure the refund will be for the difference. If the entire thing is refunded than that would be fair as well. Zynga needs to do more to keep their paying customers happy. After all if it wasn't for us those who don't pay wouldn't have a game to play.
