Ice Season: 15

Ice Season 15 is here and have 7 days to get 1,000 ices. We had a one week break and many have been asking when the feature was going to return. A lot of us assumed that the Ice Seasons would go back to their 14 day/1,500 ice schedule but that's not the case. If you're looking for a collect button for the Ice Season 14 reward, remember you already got that last week (1).
The loot reward is the Whitecap Racer. As you progress in mastery, the stats get better.
The milestone ices rewards are unchanged from the last Ice Season.
We know Zynga plans on keeping the Ice Season feature around for a while. Server images of banners going up to Ice Season 46 were discovered a few weeks ago (1). I don't know if we will get a break like we did last week or what the schedule will be. Rumor had it that Ice Seasons would start every other Tuesday at 11pm PST and last for 14 days. That doesn't appear to be the case with this one.
The loot reward for the next Ice Season, Ribbed Ankle Boots, can be found in the servers but not our inventory.

    One week seasons are a little too much on manual players. There's already enough going-on in the game. There is NO WAY you can miss one day of icing as a manual player in a one week season. There is a world outside of Mafia Wars and if any kind of real-world problem surfaces to take a player away from the game for a day or two, their entire season is shot unless they spend the rest of their week doing nothing but fighting and icing. Also, what if someone simply wants to take a day off from icing? Zynga needs to set these back to the two week cycle where if a day or two is missed it doesn't screw the whole season for manual players.

    I prefer the 1500 per 2 week period. It is true that the Bots are able to make the 1000 in a week, lower level or average fighters can't make that quota unless they are on line all day and spend their hard earned cash to buy extra Stamina

    If you are getting your family progression daily (like you should) then getting to 1000 in a week is not a problem. I prefer the single week over the two week.

    As a GF of a family of manual players, people DO need to take a day off here and there. Zynga makes that impossible for manual players with a 1K/Wk season. See my original post. The one week season favors bot players.
