New Year's Resolutions & New Loot Items

There is a teaser about a new event on the Home Page Ad Module. It's called New Year's Resolutions and we are suppose to get "incredible rewards". The event will start tonight at 11:30pm PST and last for 7 days.
It's not like Zynga to give us a heads up in this fashion unless Reward Points are involved so this could just be the New Years Marketplace Promotion. The Bloody Christmas Promotion ran for 7 days as well and we got prior notification via the Ad Module.
I did an Inventory History run just a few minutes ago and there are new items. Any of these could apply to whatever is coming tonight. I will have a new post up soon about these items.
