The latest installment of This & Next Week has been posted on the Official Mafia Wars Blog. We already know what happened "This Week" so I'll skip that. I would love to see them add to the "Bug Fixes" that they restored all of our missing family statistics and figured out why our Clams and Rob Squads keep disappearing. They claim to have fixed the Declare War bug so hopefully everyone can now get 5 helper items a day. For a brief period, players were having trouble doing stamina jobs in Las Vegas and Italy and that has been fixed.
This Week's Major Bug Fixes
Among other bugs, we fixed some that cropped up in the Harold & Kumar Bake Sale event, disabled the Botanical Garden because it went out early by accident, and fixed broken declare war and fight jobs in Las Vegas and Italy.

Enhancements to the Request Experience
Translation: Ok, our plan of annoying the crap out of you with the request permission popups isn't working. We were hoping you would cave and grant us permission to snoop into all of your data on Facebook. We are going to try something just as irritating but different.
Additional Levels of Family Progression
Translation: Rather than redesign how Family Progression is calculated, we want to give those families stuck on levels 5 and 6 a greater feeling of hopelessness. Maybe members will give up and create new families. We get 50 Reward Points and you get a chance to start over. Families without players who can get 150 ices per day are the victims of our set-up and we plan on making it worse.
New Limited-Time-To-Request-Upgrade Parts NYC Property: Cider House
Translation: About that Botanical Garden... Mafioso's don't need flowers! We will keep putting it off until you eventually forget about it. We are making more room on the Property Page and soon there will be so much variety you will say "Botanical Gardens Who?". The more Limited Time Properties we make, the less likely new players will stick around. We don't want new players as it's hard enough to make the ones we have happy. You guys are a pain in the ass and we wish you would all just quit and go play Mafia Wars 2.
Slots Bonus Wheel Loot Refresh
Translation: Yeah we just did this 2 weeks ago but you all are suckers. Keep playing our rigged slot machine and we will keep updating the loot. Our favorite saying around here is "A Fool and His Reward Points Are Soon Parted".

I know the frog I got 14 of them in a special event and Maybe the Venoumous {Vehicle} was also available in a Special event....!

ReplyDeleteI'm attempting to create a new family. I removed myself from my previous family earlier today. When I fill in the appropriate data in the create a family form and click on the "Create Family for 50 RP" nothing happens. I have plenty of RP. Can you offer any suggestions??
