Many players are reporting that the dreaded "This feed has expired." bug is back. I tested it out on a few accounts and indeed the any part posts are broke.
If Zynga is going to insist that we keep spamming, the least they could do is have a working product. On an alternate account, I made a any part request from the Home Page. I didn't post it and copied the link address so I could be the first one to help. I got the "This feed has expired." message shown above and was the first player to attempt to send a part to this account.
The bug does not affect the individual part requests and they are working as intended.

"... I didn't post it..." could be the key. Numerous other links in the game don't work until after they're posted, such as the "Share" after "Collect All Parts"; as with most of the previous "collection event" links once it's posted the copied link works fine.
ReplyDeleteIf this is in fact what they've changed, one solution is either remove "Post to Facebook as me" permissions so that you can set it to "Only Me" when it posts.
I clicked on a friend's posts. Both were 4 hours old. He had received 3 parts total. Both read expired. No upgrade at all today.
ReplyDeleteYup nurfed again... Getting expired links on all my drone accounts even 5mins after they register the links. This is such a pain....
ReplyDeleteZynga "fixed" these links some time ago so they don't work without posting first.
ReplyDeleteThe posted were made after I tested them and others clicking on them got the expired message. It doesn't seem to affect all accounts but the did on the ones I tested.
