Harvest Mystery Bags Don't Count for Family Progression

I was a little irritated to find that the 20 Harvest Mystery Bags I opened did not count towards my Family Progression. What in the hell is going on with Zynga? They have screwed up two major features that were working fine this week and it keeps getting worse. I was excited to see a ton of Harvest Mystery Bags in my ZMC.  I only needed 6 more points to master Family Progression and figured I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

I was surprised to see my Family Progression stayed on 69. None of these Harvest Mystery Bags counted. I verified this on another account and saw several comments about it as well. With so many things wrong with gifting, it wasn't the smartest thing for Zynga to drop these Harvest Mystery Bags on us. We could have waited until all the bugs were ironed out of the "enhanced gifting".

The other gifts you open in your ZMC will count towards Family Progression. I opened a Blue Mystery Bag and a Special Part and my meter moved up 2 points.
