The Gift Maker by Team Spockholm

The Gift Maker is a handy tool that will generate a bookmarklet that is unique to you. It's been around for a while but has been modified to work with the new style of gifting. Find it on the Spockholm Mafia Tools Gift Maker Page. You will see 50 slots and all you need to do is enter the Facebook IDs of 50 people you want to send gifts.

It wouldn't make sense to use the players in your family because Zynga has a category for them already built into the page. It's very easy to send all of your family members gifts every day. If you don't want to click 50 little plus signs each time, use the Gift Clicker.

You should choose players who you know are active but aren't in your family. There are many ways to get the Facebook IDs of these players. The easiest for me was to use the List  FB Friends bookmarklet. You can find this one towards the bottom of the Spockholm Mafia Tools Beta Page.

The import code to add it to your Spockholm Toolbar is below. If you don't know how to use this code, instructions can be found here.

Start it up and you will get a list of all your friends with their Facebook IDs. Select MW playing to eliminate all of your non-Mafia Wars friends from the list.

Now go through the list and copy the Facebook ID's and paste them into the Gift Maker.

When you are finished, click on the "Make Bookmarklet" button located at the bottom of the page shown above.

You very own personalized bookmarklet will appear under all the boxes which will now be empty.

Drag your newly created "Gift Friends" bookmarklet to your bookmark toolbar and it's ready for use. You can make as many as you want. I chose to edit mine and I changed the name to "Gift Friends 1" as I plan to make a few of these. To do this, right click on "Gift Friends" (which is now located in your bookmark toolbar), select edit and change the name to whatever you wish.

Then click "Ok" and your bookmarklet will appear with the new name.

Now go to the Send Page for the gift of your choice. You can use the Free Gift Page or use the links found in this post to send items that aren't on the page. If you don't take the time to figure out how to add your new script to your Spockholm Toolbar then you need to make sure your Send Page is unframed. Also make sure you are on the "Mafia Wars Friends" or "Facebook Friends" category. I'll use Special Parts as an example.

Simply click on your new bookmarklet and the names of the players will be added to the list.

Now click the "Send Requests" button to get your post. If you keep the "Don't ask again" box checked then future rounds will auto-post saving you another click.
