When Zynga informed us via the Official Mafia Wars Blog that it was a "Family Battle Reward Weekend", they weren't messing around. The Family Battle Rewards were pulled today at exactly 12 am PST. What really sucks is families who started battles before midnight were not given rewards if the battle ended after the rewards were turned off. I don't understand why this can't be a permanent feature as it offers incentive and a reason to participate in Family Battles. Without rewards, there is no strategic reason to do them.

to bad i hope they will make it a permanent thing to give rewards for every battle as they did this weekend , a decrease of battles will be obvious, instead of demotivate people to start a battle or accept a battle , they should make the rewards even more apealing, to motivate groups to do more battles , eventho the mockwars, and drive by's as we have always know them never gave us any reward either as just the fun of kicking butt ;).....................cindy

ReplyDeleteThough glad for all the items gained now, but they really, really, really need to have some sort of items always dropping there or it'll be completely uninteresting.
rewards should come back, but with the same consequences as in boss fights, not joining, no reward.
ReplyDeletenow people who don't fight along still could collect the reward, and that sucks.
They would rather you got useless loot from daily take or 90% of the fight loot or the absolute winner golden keys ..... They just want stupid spammy gifting .... I don't understand them ??? Do they really want anyone playing the game anymore ? - too much work for the developers fixing problems if they have players ...

ReplyDeleteI have noticed alot of family fights where there is no fighting straight to attacking the safe-house. Must be to just get the rewards
