Enough With The Zombies!

On October 26th, Mafia Wars was Zombified. The innocent looking Zombie Scratch on all of the destinations created havoc and broke many scripts. Team Spockholm adapted and we eventually figured out the best strategies to get a few loot items from this event. Most started to ignore it after a few hours.
Fighting and other game actions have been interrupted countless times by annoying Zombie/Survivor popups and the event has run it's course. 
According to the game instructions, the event should be over but Zynga covered their ass by saying the event would run "for about 10 days". We are on the eleventh day of this Zombie nonsense and it's time for them to put things back to normal. We will probably have to wait until the weekend is over. If you liked this event, the good news is Zynga loves to copy/paste. I'm sure we will see this soon in some other annoying form. I wouldn't be surprised if they turn this thing into another Harold & Kumar Event.

    it could be nice if they let us choose if we want to take part of some event or to stop it when we wish to

    do we have a feeling as to whether this will also spell the end of the Fellow Survivor/Zombie loot drops - i still need a few more of each!

    I believe the Zombie/Survivor fight loot is permanent. We won't know for sure until the event is over but I doubt they would have updated the Fight Rewards Page if they weren't here to stay.

    @anonymous above, or should I say dumb ass?, your comment was approved, you just added it to the wrong post. Look under the Daily Links (a few posts down. If you're going to troll and hide like a coward under "anonymous", at least get your facts right. I'm sure you would use scripts too but obviously you aren't smart enough. Your best defense is to call people who do cheaters. Who sucks now?????

    I'm 100% with you on most posts, Jen, but I hope this event is around a bit longer so I can continue to get the Zombie-related fight loot - as many other posters have said. While you might be optimistic and say the loot'll be around after this event is over, I have a feeling it will be pulled, as the items themselves have little meaning after the fact.

    But then again, since when has Zynga done anything that resembled meaning and reason in any way, shape, or form?
