The dreaded and annoying Limited Time Upgrade Constructed New York Properties are back in action. The Cider House can be found on your Home Page.
By now, you should know what to do. Spam the crap out of your friends until you have enough parts to upgrade. You can ask for random parts or individual parts once every 8 hours.
Save your links and use the Mission Crew Link Spocklet to post whenever you want. Only one individual part request will work at a time.
If you don't like auto-posting and want to view your posts before they go to your wall, go to your account settings and edit the Mafia Wars application permissions. Remove "Post to Facebook as me".
When you get enough parts, upgrade and re-spam.
The items you can craft from the Cider House are shown below. The Bourbon Red has no skill points, the Brewmaster has +3 stamina and the Cider Truck offers +3 attack. Nothing here is impressive or worth the spam. If you can stand to have unfinished content, I would totally skip this one.
You can see they didn't bother to make another row for these properties that most players hate. The eleventh property just hangs past the border and it looks very sloppy. There are two more (that we know about) of these things to come so I would hope they take care of this. I don't like messes in my game and this is an eyesore. it's also annoying that we can't even utilize over half of the properties that we took the time to build.
The next property is the Botanical Garden which we already saw due to an accidental activation. I also found a Christmas themed property in the Zynga servers. Will it ever end?

what ever bacame of the Player's Advisory Committee? Zynga obviously doesn't care that players want LESS spam events, since they keep forcing these down our throats. I'm just about done with this game, and I know many more are as well. they could offer 80% off RPs and I wouldn't buy them.

Hear hear, especially as they all give roughly the same skill bonus or stat help...just after our $$$ from people like myself who like to complete all aspects of the game to 100% (even the upgrades I don't use) pffft
ReplyDeleteWhat's the point in having a closet full of clothes when you can only wear one outfit at a time? This is great!!! I can't wait until we have 20 to choose from. It's the choosing that is so, so fun. Which properties will I build today? It all depends on what mood I'm in. Thank you Zynga, for giving us so much choice!
ReplyDeleteI haven't started asking materials. I'm still thinking if I would built this property. But I think I won't. And won't play any more Mafia Wars from now on. It's just tiring when developers wouldn't listen to the players. I mean, what kind of company won't listen to consumers? Zynga will fall apart... Btw, I've got 7 accounts, so MW just lost 7 (er, 1) daily player/s...
