Treasure Chest Popup Lies

Here is something Martin from Team Spockholm noticed about a month ago. I didn't have time to post about it and eventually forgot. Today I was reminded via an email from Avijit Majumdar. Players are no longer getting Treasure Chests even though their popups say otherwise. If you are like me, you blocked that popup a long time ago and have never noticed. Today I unblocked it from the Account Settings.
I immediately took a screen shot of my Gold Treasure Chests from my inventory. I missed out on the Treasure Chest Key glitch that Zynga never addressed so I have 358 of them.
Like clockwork, I got the annoying popup alerting me that I gor a Gold Treasure Chest.
I refreshed my game and went to my inventory again and sure enough I has the same number of Treasure Chests. The popup above is a big lie and a waste of time. With the closing of the Secret Stash and Crime Spree feature, there is a very good chance this one will be next. If you have any Treasure Chest Keys, I would use them ASAP. We just saw that there was no advanced warning before features were pulled.

    if i were in your case i will do everything that will help me level up before this game closes.

    i've been thinking probably this game will close
    in the next few years

    Been playing for awhile now and I've yet to even get one of these chests!

    The game will never close it's there biggest money spinner of all the games.

    it appeared just 1 day ago. before when you was trying to open your chest with freekeys it was taking 9 rps. i was clicking stupidly this this when it was for free and was not able to understand why the chest is not opening. then i found that over 100rps disappeared frm my account. i was doing same on next day since still was not able to undertand what happens... hence finally clarified and oops they made it paid.. there is also no chance to apply to support since i do not know how much rps disappeared exactly. they do not keep history...and i can not proof since i have no screenshots
