The moment you all have been waiting for is here. Mafia Wars 2 is live and you can see for yourself if it will replace the original or not. As a beta tester, I can say that the games are very different. Those who are attracted to the sequel will be the players who like to build stuff and aren't really into statistics. I found a lot more similarities to CityVille than to Mafia Wars. It will be fun to monitor the application stats of both games. WTF? this is exactly like upgraded farmville (frontierville), I started playing MW because it was different than all these "villes" and MW2 is a crap just like it
ReplyDeleteI played the sequel game & it totally sucks..just hate the way they have designed the game..boss after such a blockbuster first part..the 2nd part must be even more exiting..but they ended up creating a dud...Jenn thanks a lot for your feeds..i'm updated with what's happening around this game & i want my precious time back..After Chicago i'm logging off this game & let Zynga find new idiots to play their sequel game...
ReplyDeleteI tried it, and I hated it. It like a darker and violent version of Cityville. Any diehard Mafia Wars 1 fan will probably not like it either.

ReplyDeleteSo cheap from Zynga to develop a game based on Ville formats. I did not like the graphics/syle of the game.... !!
ReplyDeleteThe sequel is really bad and I did try to play and my man meets joe to collect and then just gets stuck ogling at her. Looks like Zynga is ogling at other games forgetting the capability of Mafia wars 1.
Instead they should have developed a transition for the players who have finished Mafia wars 1 to 2 so the players will feel encouraged to move on rather than it being another game whole by itself!
