Another 2012 Rumor

I saw this comment on one of my posts and have also seen it in the news feeds. There is a stupid rumor going around that Mafia Wars is going to close in the first quarter of 2012. It's a crock of shit. If it does happen it's a coincidence and not anything planned by Zynga at this time. All games have a shelf life and Mafia Wars is no exception.
The Mayans also started a rumor that the world is going to end in the forth quarter of 2012. I'm not planning my life around that one and you shouldn't believe everything you read.

    Have you looked at the user numbers for MW vs MW2? It doesn't look good for MW at all. So, yeah, I'm sure it's not planned at this point, but 2012Q1 does seem like a reasonable estimate.

    those user numbers are liable to be misleading as many MW players did the game until level 5 to get the pole dancer and promptly blocked it immediately thereafter.

    According to Harold Camping is gonna happen on friday 21th of october, 3:30 in my timezone and the world is still (a)round
