Zynga finally got around to announcing their September Collector's Edition items. Thanks to Team Spockholm and the Inventory History bookmarklet, I was able to do that for them on September 1st.
We learn that the Tuesday loot items will be 35 Reward Points and the Friday loot items will be 45 Reward Points but will come with skill points. This isn't entirely true as Friday's Sept 2nd item was 46 Reward Points and didn't have any skill points.
If you purchased one, I would go to Customer Support and request compensation as the post below reprinted from the Official Mafia Wars Blog clearly states that the Friday items will have skill points and only cost 45 Reward Points. If you purchased the Tread Crusher, you were ripped off because it was 46, not 45 Reward Points and you didn't get any skill points.
We are excited to announce the September Collector's Edition Item Schedule! Two items will be added to the Marketplace each week, a 35RP one on Tuesdays and a 45RP one with skill points on Fridays. On each of these days, a count of 2,000 will be made available at 2:00am PDT and an additional 5,000 will be made available at 9:00am PDT. You will have only 24 hours to buy yours, but don't wait until the last minute, as these exclusive items tend to sell out quickly! Visit the Marketplace every Tuesday and Friday to try to nab one of the precious 7,000 of each Collector's Edition Item. Check out the schedule below!

I am so happy to inform you that I have added 10 Reward Points and 5 Skill Points to your account. I would appreciate if you check your account and let me know if they were successfully added and also if there is anything else that I can do for you. I will be here waiting for your response.
ReplyDeleteThat what they gave me when I sent a ticket in about the Crusher - now don't think 10RP was needed but thanks
How awesome... a deadly Shrimp...
ReplyDeletePlease stop promoting Zynga and their crap!
Dear readers!
Don't waste your RP on this loot! Use RP on skill!
Tagging this loot as "collectors" means nothing!
In few months this loot will be worth nothing and as others it will become giftable!
tq
friendly advice...dont invest with this garbage...
ReplyDelete#2 and #3 You don't understand for who are these items intended for. I would rather buy a collector item than overpriced skill points. Waste 48 RP on 16 skill points or 46 RP on a collector's item? 16 skill points is nothing!
