At some point between now and when the first image shown below was taken (yesterday), the cost to purchase the loot items for the Henchmen Event has changed from 15 Reward Points to 12 Reward Points. The stamina players are finding that the Old Man is the hardest item to get and the energy accounts are having a hard time getting the Garbage Man.
I wanted to see if buying an item would add it to your total yielding in a Grand Prize item as well. You can see I'm short on Old Men. I purchased one Old Man for 12 Reward Points and was able to get one Cocktail Waitress as well. I don't ever recommend using your Reward Points to buy loot items as they don't retain their value for very long

I don't ever recommend using your Reward Points to buy loot items as they don't retain their value for very long. If you are going to do that then this is a pretty good deal. Assuming you have enough of the other items, you are going to get two items for the cost of one at 12 Reward Points as opposed to one item for the cost of 25 Reward Points. Take the example below, the Panda Assassins are available in the Marketplace and will most likely be converted from an armor to a henchmen item. It is currently on sale for 20 Reward Points and the attack score is only +1 better than the Garbage Man. You can buy a Garage Man for 12 Reward Points and get a Cocktail Waitress (assuming you have the other 6 items) as well.
I don't know if this has anything to do with me purchasing an Old Man but shortly after I did, I had some luck on the last job in El Dorado. The moral of the story here is if you are planning on purchasing any of these items, wait until the event is almost over.
